Vrai & Oro位于洛杉矶艺术区的首家门店已经正式开放。店铺的设计致力于体现品牌的核心价值：品质、简朴与透明。该项目位于ROW DTLA购物街上的一栋建于1920年代的钢架混凝土建筑内，精致而简洁的建筑细部展现出一种平易近人的空间品质，从而将顾客的目光吸引至产品本身。

Vrai & Oro’s first store has opened in ROW DTLA in downtown LA’s Arts District. The design of the store began by first taking Vrai & Oro’s core values to heart – quality, simplicity and transparency. In a small space within the 1920’s concrete and steel market structure turned curated retail destination ROW DTLA, details evoke refined simplicity while expressing the spatial qualities of its surroundings – allowing an approachable atmosphere for the customer to focus on product.

Vrai & Oro的客户群体依据自身的价值观来选择不同的生活方式，这也是店铺设计所要强调的一点。店铺内使用了色调柔和的黄铜、香草大理石、混凝土和胡桃木作为材料。建筑师还特别定制了直线型的黄铜吊灯、陈列柜以及胡桃木座椅等一系列细部元素。背景处的墙壁与这些元素与形成了对比：色彩洁白却不冷清，为空间带来一种温和的氛围，同时映衬出店内手工珠宝的独特品质。

The company relies on customers who have made lifestyle choices that echo their values, and the store design reaffirms those decisions. The material palette features a toned down selection of brass, vanilla marble, concrete and walnut. Custom details are found throughout, such as the linear brass pendants, display cases and curved walnut seating, all designed by the architect. These are set against a backdrop of white walls that, rather than feeling stark or coldly minimal, lend a softness to the atmosphere that hearkens back to the type of craftsmanship one finds in the store’s locally fabricated jewelry.

曲线型的墙壁沐浴在光影中，不时反射出明亮的光点。人工照明采用了不同于一般珠宝店的柔和的白色，再次凸显出品牌对生活方式而非产业标准的强调。融于墙体的拱顶带来一种出乎意料却又似曾相识的空间感受。整个店铺围绕着中央的圆柱展开，建筑师旨在使这座立柱成为视觉的重心，从而对顾客形成一种组织和引导。此外，立柱还被用作一个吸引目光的工具，使人想对其内外一探究竟，而不是像普通的墙体那样挡住人们的视线。

The walls curve, bathed in sunlight and shadow, with bright glimpses of light within their folds. Artificial lights are warm white, not the cold variety typically found in jewelry stores – again reaffirming a lifestyle rather than an industry standard. An archway intersects the curvature, resulting in an unpredictable, yet familiar, space. The store revolves about a central circular column, crafted by the architects as a focal point used to steer and organize multiple visitors within the small shop. The column works as an instrument to lure people around it to see what’s on the other side, without blocking views as a typical wall might have.

从本质上看，店铺的设计犹如一件容器，将定制生活方式的理念置于现代工业遗迹的旧墙之中，在这里，相互结合的材料、暖白色和深灰色的墙面、独具特色的珠宝乃至店里的客人们，都找到了最适合自己的位置。

Essentially, the design of the store is a vessel – a piece of a larger vision of a bespoke lifestyle placed within the walls of a modern industrial relic – where the combination of materials, the warm white and dark grey surfaces, the jewelry the store is meant to feature, and the store’s patrons, all feel well at home.
