这可能是中国第一家使用菌丝体材料的商铺，我们看中了菌丝体的不规则性，它们从模具里出来后形态各异，拥有自己的想法。悦芳泉美容机构这次的商铺选择在武昌万象城，店铺有60米超长外立面，这对需要隐私性的SPA空间是一个挑战。

This may be the first store in China to use mycelium materials. We are attracted by the irregularity of mycelium. These materials are molded into different shapes and have their own ideas. Yuefangquan Beauty Salon chose to open its store in Wuchang MixC. The store has an extra-long facade of 60 meters, which is a challenge for the SPA space that requires privacy.

如何利用超长的外立面，人们向商铺内部看引起好奇心，但又具有隐私性。我们想到了“森林”，当代的人的休闲方式，跑山或者露营。人们想进入山林，同时山林也提供了隐私性。于是在空间中随机布置了“树木”，它没有规则，因为自然界也没有规则。

How to make use of the extra-long facade to arouse people’s curiosity when looking into the shop while maintaining privacy? We thought of “forest”, which is the modern people’s way of leisure, mountain running or camping. People want access to the woods, and the woods also provide privacy. So we have “trees” randomly arranged in space, there are no rules to it, because there are no rules in nature either.

为了让这些“树”更有生机，我们使用了生物科技材料“菌丝体”，模拟树干。这种材料起初被研究为了用于“太空殖民”，在没有氧气的情况下繁殖农作物。现在偶尔民用，菌丝体如粘合剂一般把复合材料抓住。我们看中了菌丝体的不规则性，他们从模具里出来后形态各异，拥有自己的想法，也给空间更多的生命力。前台的立面背板，菌丝体成阵列排布，营造整齐的科技感觉。

In order to make these “trees” more lively, we used the biotechnology material “mycelium” to simulate tree trunks. The original purpose of studying this material was to use it for “space colonization” to grow crops in the absence of oxygen. It is now occasionally used in civilian applications, where the mycelium acts as an adhesive to hold composite materials together. Mycelium is arranged in an array on the facade back panel of the reception desk, creating a neat and technological feel.

这是最终确认的菌丝体表面质感，需要更加深度的烘烤，让菌丝体发生变化。同时我们独立设计了沙发和为顾客服务的水池，给予商铺更多的独立美感。不只是大空间，在终端物品，也希望打动顾客。为顾客服务的水池，呈现山丘与泉池的意向，它们就在山林中。

This is the final confirmed mycelium surface texture, which requires deeper baking to change the properties of the mycelium. At the same time, we independently designed sofas and a pool for customers to give the store more independent beauty. We hope to impress customers not only with the large space but also with the terminal items. The pools serving customers present the intention of hills and springs, which are located in the mountains and forests.

起初商铺拥有一个小的户外平台，我们认为这是鸡肋的空间，与甲方反复沟通后，决定还是为它设计一条近路，最终户外平台还是比较惬意的。

The store originally had a small outdoor platform, which we thought was a useless space. After repeated communication with the client, we decided to design a shortcut for this space. In the end, this outdoor platform turned out to be quite comfortable space.
