这是位于北京市金宝街shifter silo的一次展览，该展览展出艺术家创作的一系列墙面装置作品，他是一位家具设计师，多年学习和工作的经历让他对古典建筑产生了浓厚的创作兴趣。这次的作品他利用计算机辅助设计和3d打印进行创作。

This is an exhibition at shifter silo on Jinbao Street, Beijing. The exhibition showcases a series of wall installations by the founder of the Shixiong Wang. He is a furniture designer. Years of studies and work have led him to have a strong interest in classical architecture. He used computer-aided design and 3D printing to create this time.

红墙
Red Wall

他的创作过程，一直被这个国家的建筑文化所吸引，尤其是当他来到北京，在一个他以为很熟悉但其实很陌生的城市里求学时，这种感觉尤其强烈，在少年的迷茫里，高大的红墙像是一种生活的底色。

The creative process of Red Wall has always been attracted by the country’s architectural culture, the feeling was especially strong when he came to Beijing to study in a city he thought he was familiar with but was actually very unfamiliar. In the confusion of the young, the tall red wall is like a background color of life.

视觉的记忆
Visual memory

“和很多人一样，虽然童年生活在一个县城里，但对国家的记忆确将我定格在这些古典建筑的形象中，我逐渐确信这是这片土地上一种普遍的，深入人心的现象。”创作活动就是一种感性的奇妙转换，这种最开始的视觉记忆，经过时间的慢慢积累，不自觉的就开始去尝试表达出来。

“Although I lived in a county town in my childhood, my memory of the country did freeze me in the images of these classical buildings, and I gradually became convinced that this was a common and deeply rooted phenomenon in this land.” The creative activity is a wonderful transformation of sensibility. This initial visual memory gradually accumulates over time and begins to be expressed unconsciously.

景
Scene

屋檐和围墙，树木与湖泊 ，具体的事物，难定名的景观，随着变换的形式和色彩，共同勾勒出作品的主题。这些作品提供了一个直接的形象，每一件都是相对的独立。

Eaves and fences, trees and lakes, specific things, and unnamed landscapes, along with changing forms and colors, outline the theme of the work together. The pieces provide a direct image, each one is relatively independent.

艺术之外
Beyond art

有别于传统媒介的创作着，设计背景让我对作品有不同的认识，一边是设计工作，另一边通过设计来生产自己的“作品”。这源自一种设计师的惯性思维，他希望这些作品像自己设计的家具一样，能与人们的生活相契合，融入到日常中。

Different from the creation of traditional media, the design background allows me to have a different understanding of the artwork. Design work on one side, produces my own artwork through design on the other side.This comes from the inertial thinking of a designer. He hopes that these artworks, like the furniture he has designed, can be integrated into people’s lives.

工作室
Studio

艺术家在2021年创立了以“行进”为名的工作室。专门从事家居设计和艺术品装置，善于运用传统的技术和工艺，多种材料相互结合来完成设计。风格简练，形式鲜明。

The studio was established in 2021, specializing in furniture design and art installations.  Many of his furniture works use traditional craftsmanship and involve the combination of various materials. He presents a distinctive form feature in his creative, concise, and vivid style.
