这是来自冰岛年轻艺术家Theresa Himmer的作品—-位于冰岛首都雷克雅未克的“山系列”。山系列包含三部曲：冰川，火山，瀑布。创作时间是2008年10月经济危机以后，基于对大局势的反应。这是一个关联自然与人工，充满崇高敬意，同时批判冰岛日益商业化的作品。

冰岛的天然环境是吸引游客的最好资源，而用廉价的工业原料来制作艺术品，则形成一个具有辩证对立性，精神性的意义。

Theresa Himmer曾在丹麦奥胡斯学习建筑，城规，景观，同时对公共艺术非常感兴趣，因此Theresa Himmer的作品都与建筑和场所保持了直接的关系，都处于一个特定的背景之下。可以是一个物理位置，也囊括社会，政治，文化，历史背景。不倾向于想象，而倾向于观察。

The Mountain Series in Reykjavik consists of three works:
Waterfall #01, Glacier#01 and Volcano#01.

The site-specific Series was created as a response to the cultural-economic situation, leading up
to and following the economic crash in October 2008.
A loving tribute to Reykjavik, it is investigating the relationship between natural and artificial
landscapes, while critiquing the increasing commodification of Icelandic nature.
