Gentle Genius起伏的火红表皮让建筑成为街区中一个耀眼的存在。室内设计沿用了表皮上不规则多边形的元素，壁柜如同自然生长一般依附于墙面之上，形成置物格或者照明设施。与亮丽的表皮相反，室内的整体基调素净而略显昏暗，白色、浅灰色的家具在不同颜色室内灯光的照射下泛着不同的色彩。量身定制的组合式家具系列-The Infection分为三个部分：Vibrio沙发, Diatom餐桌以及Zephyrus矮柜。家具同样呼应晶格状的建筑表皮，以多边形为基础单元，根据使用者的需求进行组合拼接，形成不同的形态。

GG-loop将于2016年4月12日至17日登陆米兰设计周，展出事务所2015年的主要设计作品以及家具系列-The Infection。

The ever-moving façade and the red color highlighted Gentle Genius from its surrounding area. The interior echoes the surface with irregular polygon as basic a component. The huge cabinet expands long the wall, forming containers and lightings. Contrasting with the passionate red color，the interior seems to be plain and dusky. The custom design furniture, being the first three pieces of the modular furnitures, is base on the irregular polygon as well, and can be adjusted according to the user’s need. The light-colored surfaces reflect the colors of the light.

GG-loop is going to the Fuorisalone in Milan between the 12th and 17th of April 2016. At the fair they will introduce the experience of their main project of 2015, the house-museum The Seed Of Time and showcase the first three pieces of the modular furniture series known from the interior of Gentle Genius, The Infection.

During the launch event on the 13th of April 2016 at 20.00, the art collective Elephants and Volcanoes will premiere the video from the opening event of the house-museum. Come and experience The Seed Of Time at Ventura VX, stand Q.

GG-loop furniture design is informed by natural processes, mathematical systems and harmonic proportions. At Ventura Lambrate we will showcase our first three pieces of the modular ever-changing furniture series: Vibrio (sofa), Diatom (table) and Zephyrus (cabinet). All of them are conceived to be transformed over time, according to the evolving needs of the user. As in Nature, these pieces organically modify, interact and respond thanks to basic natural principles of duplication and aggregation. These pieces belong to a family, born while developing our main project of 2015, the interior design The Infection.

GG-loop设计的家具混合了理性与感性，经过精密计算后设计的单元体组合在一起，形成了如同自然生长般肆意张扬却又比例和谐的家具。本次展出的三件家具都可随用户需求改变自身形状，依照特定的次序甚至可以无限复制和扩张。

沙发分为坐垫和靠背两个部分，经过精密计算确定形态和尺寸的坐垫单体可以随意组合，形成或大或小，不同形式的沙发群。浅灰色的天鹅绒低调而华丽，对称的体块让沙发在无穷变化中仍井然有序。

Vibrio is a modular furniture piece inspired by the relentlessly changing multitude of primary organic shapes created through molecular aggregation.

Like nature displays itself in an infinity of forms, Vibrio, like a living entity can manifest in continuously alternating constellations and be reinvented through subtraction, addition and re-composition of the individual modules. Molecular properties like bioluminescence inspire its visually responsive surface, the iridescent velvet fabric traces movements and creates ever changing reflection patterns painted by its use.

The piece is developed based on the symmetry of mandalas, cymatic imagery, the healing properties contained in the principles of sacred geometry. The inherent harmony of form itself resonates with the space it inhabits and interacts, responds and questions its status quo to reflect the eternally transformative aspect of life. Its dynamism evokes the beauty and elegance of that transformation in a space.

纤细的钢架组合在一起，搭构起一个凹凸有致的支撑结构，看似轻盈却十分有力，玻璃面板仿佛摆脱了重力，悬浮在空中。

Diatom is the first table of the modular furniture series designed by GG-loop, inspired by the relentlessly changing multitude of primary organic shapes, created through molecular growth processes. Inspired by the unicellular microscopic organism, Diatom’s frame is composed of extremely light elements forming a rigid and almost invisible structure.

Diatoms are unicellular organisms enclosed within a cell wall made of silica, displaying a wide diversity in form, usually bilaterally symmetrical. This imperfect symmetry, created when a diatom divides to produce two daughter cells, has inspired the ever changing look in the structure of the table.

The circular table has no front or back side, allowing an ever new experience of the piece when walking around it. The weight of the round glass top resting on the delicate diatomic cells creates a sculptural tension. When looking through the transparent surface the cells seem to float in the water like diatoms in their natural habitat.

Zephyrs蝴蝶矮柜 Zephyrus (cabinet)

矮柜如同蝴蝶一般，在生命的过程中不断蜕变。围绕固定轴心组建的两翼可以翻转或旋转，从最初始的形态一步步升华，带来多样化的使用体验。飞扬的形态和明亮的色彩让柜体显得愈发轻盈。

Zephyrus is a cabinet, a first piece of the modular furniture series designed by GG-loop. The polymorphic nature of the sculptural furniture piece reflects the quality of the butterfly as a symbol of life as transformation. Its dynamism evokes the beauty and elegance of that transformation in a space.

As a butterfly, it is composed by a body and two wings: the main core of 3 drawers and two wings of 2 drop-front drawers each. Mirroring and rotation around the symmetric core create an ever transformable furniture piece. Recomposition of the modules allows to change the outline and experience of  Zephyrus as the direction of the apertures modifies with the rotation of the modules. ‘The Zephyrus’ does not have a front and back, but rather two front sides that can be rearranged at wish and extended or reduced over time.
