Nowadays the carrara white marble is considered more and more to be sold per ton than ever before. Usually the blocks are covered with resin to increase the stress resistance imparted by the cutting machine used to obtain slabs (2-3 cm thickness). The collection designed for the “MarmoTrilogy” has been inspired by this process with the intention to emphasize the material and the artisan know-how to obtain unique and not replicable objects.
The marble pieces are achieved by using waste material coming from coring. The resin symbolizes the discarded material (spectrum) that a careless use would take to produce the same marble piece.
