由两个墨尔本设计师发起的1-OK CLUB是一个为设计师提供展示和委托机会的平台。以下作品均选自1-OK CLUB，展现了一个澳大利亚本土多元化的设计师群体。

1-OK CLUB was initiated by two Melbourne-based designers as a representing and commissoning platform for designer. The following works are selected from 1-OK CLUB and represent a diverse community of designers in Australia.

Echo by Adam Goodrum 碗

成长于西澳大利亚的设计师Adam Goodrum曾在悉尼学习工业设计。他的作品中往往展现了其个人对于运动、几何以及大胆配色的迷恋。与当地陶瓷匠人合作，Adam受到日本金缮技术的启发，通过对破损瑕疵的工艺品重新上色与重组来展现隐藏在破碎和不完美的物品之间的别样之美。

Adam Goodrum grew up in Western Australia then moved to Sydney to study Industrial Design, and his works always show a fascination with movement, geometry and bold colour. During collaboration with local ceramic artisans, Adam was inspired by the Japanese technique of Kintsugi, and colored defective artefacts with dye, then re-assembled them in order to express the beauty in the broken and imperfect objects.

Grit by Ash Allen 花瓶

新兴艺术家Ash Allen同时身兼制造家。对脱蜡铸造法感兴趣的她利用SKM Recycling公司的回收玻璃作为材料，对Alvar Aalto于1936年设计的经典玻璃花瓶进行了新颖的“复制”。

Ash Allen is an emerging designer as well as a manufacturer. Intrigued by “Pate de Verre”, she uses recycle glass from SKM Recycling and take the iconic glass vase designed by Alvar Aalto in 1936 and try and replicate it using this recycled media.

Hello Micro by Elliat Rich 观赏器皿

来自位于澳大利亚中部的爱丽丝泉市的艺术家Elliat Rich，作品涉及展览设计、公共艺术和家具等，往往包含对于增加人与其它物种之间平等的伦理需求。Hello Micro这件作品表达了对微观尺度的自然以及我们分解、消化、进行其他生命活动的赖以生存的世界的一个善意提醒。

Elliot Rich is based in Alice Springs, Central Australia. Aligning with an ethical imperative to increase equality between people and across species, her practice covers exhibition design, public art, furniture and so on. Hello Micro is a reminder of a microscopic scale ‘nature’ and ever- present world that we depend on to manage decomposition, digestion plus a myriad of other processes.

Satellite 01 by Flynn Talbot 烛台

设计师Flynn Talbot在英国伦敦设有一家主打灯光照明的工作室。他总是从“灯光效果”的角度出发，设计中的每一个决定与细节都与灯光质量和用户体验相关。3个圆形的反射装置像卫星一样悬于烛火周围。随着蜡烛渐渐燃烧消耗，每一个反射装置呈现出不一样的光影。反射装置的内表面被用锤子轻轻抛光过，外表面则保持着暗淡粗糙的样子，带着加热和焊接过程中留下的碳痕。

Flynn Talbot runs a specialized lighting studio in London, UK. He always starts with the “light effect” and every decision and detail is made with the quality of light and user experience. 3 circular reflectors float around the candle flame likes satellites. As the candle burns down the light interacts with each reflector causing a unique play of light. The interior surfaces are lightly polished by the many strikes of the hammer. The exterior surfaces are left dark and rough showing the heat marks and blackening during the soldering process.

A Vase of Infinite Folds and Surfaces by Simone LeAmon 花瓶

澳大利亚一流设计师Simone LeAmon的这件作品意在向后结构主义哲学家Gilles Deleuze致敬。他将卷成圆柱形的废纸浸入融蜡之中，形成一个足以进行脱蜡铸造的结构。最终的青铜铸件得以呈现出涂有复古绿锈的褶皱表面。

As one of Australia’s foremost design practitioners, Simone LeAmon show her homage to Gilles Deleuze and his place in history as one of the greatest post- structuralist philosophers in this work. The vase uses the waste paper by rolling many times on itself to produce a cylinder and immersed in molten wax repeatedly to build a structure sufficient for lost wax casting. A bronze casting created from and displaying a folded surface, patinated in antiquity green.

Card Table by Paul Marcus Fuog, U-P 卡桌

作为一家注重想法的创意咨询公司，U-P遵循着探究式的方法以及积极实验的核心理念，创造出许多改善人们生活方式的、重要而富有意义的作品。这件作品是一件旧卡桌的新版本。影像资料“孤独空间”则阐述了这个作品意在超越形式本身的设计意图。

Using a research-based approach with a core philosophy of positivity and experimentation, U-P create memorable and meaningful works that improve our way of life. A new version of an old card table. The video ‘A Space for Solitude’ celebrates the way the object was designed to be used moving beyond the form itself.
