Appreciation towards Rafa Alvarez for providing the following description:

Rafa Alvarez是一位出生于西班牙马德里，现居纽约布鲁克林的插图自由设计师。他漫画风格的作品基于对现实的深刻观察，并以荒诞暧昧的手法让读者各有领悟。

“I want my illustrations to tell strange and ambiguous stories to let the viewer decide what they think it´s going on. I create dynamic images with a strong “pulp” comic-book feeling”  — Rafa Alvarez

Rafa Alvarez (Madrid, 1978) worked in marketing for many years between Spain and Germany, before deciding to open his own design studio, an activity that had always been part of his life. Soon after moving to the USA he decided to pursue a Masters in Illustration as Visual Essay at the New York School of Visual Arts. Currently living in Brooklyn, he works as an editorial illustrator/freelancer in the advertising industry and is creative consultant to the animation studio, Moody Studios. Amongst his clients are American Express, Grand Central Station, Playboy Magazine and Paramount Pictures, amongst others.
