常盤公园是位于日本山口县宇部市的综合公园，是UBE BIENNALE（日本现代雕刻展）的活动会场，也是宇部市名副其实的招牌。我司负责对园内的牡丹苑进行翻新设计。

Tokiwa Park is a comprehensive park located in Ube City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan. It is the venue of UBE Biennale and a sign of Ube City. We are responsible for renovating the peony garden of the park.

翻新前的牡丹苑位于葱郁茂密的树林内，并不是非常适合牡丹生长的环境，加之也没有利用好常盤湖畔绝佳的环境，导致市民对牡丹苑的认知度不高。

Before the renovation, the peony garden was located in lush and dense forests, which was not a very suitable environment for peony growth. In addition, the excellent environment by the Tokiwa Lake was not well utilized, resulting in low awareness of the peony garden among citizens.

翻新工作的课题为重新修整牡丹的生长环境，加强公园使用者对牡丹苑的认知，让人们在平日里也能够愉悦地欣赏牡丹。以“立体的植栽构成”、“领域性与借景”、“增强季节感”为关键词展开了多角度的讨论。

The task of the renovation is to restore the growing environment of peonies, enhance park users’ awareness of the garden, and make people enjoy peonies on a daily basis. With “three-dimensional planting structure”, “domain and borrow scenery”, “enhance the sense of season” as the key words to carry out a multi-angle discussion.

关于牡丹与芍药的栽培管理，由“由至园”（日本岛根县松江市）与宇部市签订协议，按照日本最高级别的标准进行管理。灯光秀也是基于合作协议的一环，致力于将以往对公园及植物兴趣不高的人群也吸引到牡丹苑中来。

Regarding the cultivation and management of peonies, an agreement has been signed between “Yuchi Garden” (Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture, Japan) and Ube City, and management is conducted in accordance with the highest standards in Japan. The light show is part of a partnership that aims to draw people to the Peony Garden who previously had little interest in the park and plants.
