这是一个材料研究项目，提出了果皮成为一种未来塑胶的可能。在该项目中设计师通过借助科技的帮助将橘皮转化成一系列首饰，批判地建议人们重新审视其潜在价值。该项目由英国Sainsbury’s超市赞助完成。

This is a material research project, prompting a possibility that fruit peel become an alternative plastic. By processing orange-peel into a collection of jewellery with the aid of technology, the designer critically suggests people to consider the potential value of discarded peels. This project is sponsored by Sainsbury’s, UK.

▼戒指的填充部分为加工材料，底托为3D打印，体现了精准与粗略、可控与不可控之间的对比，the filler is processed material while the ring base is 3D-printing, reflecting contrast between the precise and rough, controllable and uncontrollable.

▼橘皮被碾碎的细腻程度不同，最终材质的效果也不尽相同，the colour and texture of final material differs according to the roughness of the pill.

▼戒指的包装由棕色卡纸制作而成，暗示着被肆意丢弃在水果店门前的纸箱，the ring packaging, made out of brown paper, is to imply fruit cartons discarded in front of the store.

▼每一块不规则形态均提取自被压瘪的橘子，通过镭射切割完成，从另一角度体现科技与手工的结合，each piece takes shape from crushed oranges and is made through laser cutting, mirroring the contrast between technology and craftsmanship.
