起伏的海浪遇上陡然上升的地形，汹涌地扑向岸边，滔天的巨浪仿佛能吞噬一切，但却在形成的瞬间破碎、分解。来自澳大利亚的冲浪摄影师Luke Shadbolt在一次偶然的契机下，发现了这种集合了创造与毁灭的美丽。他耗时六个月创作的系列作品maelstrom让这转瞬即逝的片刻凝固。抽象的构图化解了所有的尺度感，海洋狂暴的一面被赤裸裸地展示在众人面前。

The ocean wave tilt forward as the ocean depth decreases, surging towards the shore, as it would swallow all up. Yet it was deconstructed the minute it formed， the ephemeral beauty was capture by the  Australian surf photographer Luke Shadbolt in coincident, and he kept chasing it for over 6 months. The abstract forms of the wave dissolves the sense of scale, bring the wild side of the ocean into the front stage.
