0321 studio近期完成abit coffee位于深圳一家快闪设计，接到业主委托时距离搭建截止日仅一周时间，设计需要短时间内做出回应，满足迅速搭建协调咖啡操作与相对完备配套的功能设计。

0321 studio recently completed a pop-up design for abit coffee located in Shenzhen. It was only one week before the deadline for construction when it received the entrustment of the owner. The designer needed to respond in a short time to meet the needs of quickly building a coordinated coffee operation and a relatively complete functional design.

在参观abit coffee自建工厂时，无意发现盛放咖啡生豆的白色塑胶桶，其高度850mm正适合操作台高度，设计当即提出可以多买相同尺寸的桶来充当快闪吧台的主体结构，达成结构与形式的一致，同时我们希望这种成品采购的快速与节约不仅帮助甲方在当下经济环境里承担最小的压力，同时也是对环境可持续性尝试与意识训练。

When we visited abit coffee’s self-built factory, we accidentally found the white plastic bucket that holds the green coffee beans. The height of 850 mm is just right for the height of the console. The designer immediately proposed to buy several buckets of the same size to serve as the main structure of the pop-up bar. The structure and form are consistent. Meanwhile, we hope that this kind of fast and economical procurement of finished products will not only help Party A bear the least pressure in the current economic environment, but also try and train awareness of environmental sustainability.

设计在有限的空间正中设置8个直径820mm，高度850mm的白色橡胶桶并列，其上放置两块玻璃作为台面，为保证桶平稳并足够支撑两块玻璃，在桶内注入适当的清水保证吧台整体的荷载，水也成为项目的重要材质。

It is designed to set 8 white rubber buckets with a diameter of 820 mm and a height of 850 mm side by side in the middle of limited space, and two pieces of glass are placed on them as countertops. To ensure that the buckets are stable and strong enough to support the two pieces of glass, a proper amount of water has been injected into the buckets to ensure the load of the bar counter. Water has also become an important material of the project.

设计着力在成本与视觉的协调，用廉价的材料作为商业行为的一部分，试探人们能在多大程度上接受商业行为可以是不追求物质层面的精致，思考空间的临时性同不计代价消耗的反思，该项目证明在适当的细节和过分精致之间存在很多讨论的空间。

The design focuses on the coordination of cost and vision, using cheap or even cheaper materials as part of business behaviors, to test the extent to which people can accept business behaviors that are not pursuing the refinement of the material level, but thinking about the temporary nature of space and reflecting on consumption at any cost. The project proves that there is a lot of room for discussion between proper detailing and over-refinement.

abit也认可此次设计在减少环境与经济方面所做的努力，此次快闪结束后，所有材料均可进行回收再利用。 例如：橡胶白桶、黑色地毯、遮光窗帘等可在未来同类活动中反复利用，成为品牌的重要视觉识别。虽然环境代价不可能在此次快闪中被全面地考虑到，但设计尽量以此观念试图偿还和弥补。

abit also recognizes the efforts made in the design to reduce the environmental and economic impact, and all materials used can be recycled and reused after the event. For example, rubber white buckets, black carpets, blackout curtains, etc. can be reused in future similar events and become an important visual identity of the brand. Although it is impossible for all environmental costs to be fully considered in this pop-up design, the design tries to repay and make up for it with this concept.
