这是为贝聿铭的首次大型回顾展“贝聿铭：生活即建筑”设计的纪念品。这些产品的设计目的是希望将大师最著名的建筑作品融入日常生活用具中。设计灵感包括各种元素——几何形状、材料、构图和感官。

“I.M. Pei: Life Is Architecture” is the first major retrospective solo exhibition of the architect. Products and souvenirs for the exhibition were designed to encapsulate I.M. Pei’s most notable buildings into everyday objects. The designs were inspired by various elements including geometry, material, composition and sensation.

该系列作品包括上海中国艺术博物馆的平面图和立面图书签、中国银行的三维状花瓶、埃弗森博物馆屋顶平面图的挂钟、国家哎美术馆东馆的互锁烛台、还有Miho博物馆屋顶几何形状的万花筒，每件纪念品都是从贝聿铭丰富作品中活的灵感，并对特定的建筑进行抽象的诠释，设计者选择这些作品进行展览，并试图通过建筑和产品设计的新角度来展示大师作品的本质。

From plans and elevations of the Museum of Chinese Art for Shanghai into bookmarks, three-dimensional forms of Bank of China into glass vases, roof plan of Everson Museum into wall clock, interlocking volumes of National Gallery of Art East Building into candle holders, to roof geometry and tunnel framing of Miho Museum into kaleidoscope, each object is an abstraction and interpretation of a particular architectural project from his prolific oeuvres selected to be showcased in the exhibition while trying to illustrate the architectural essence of each from a fresh perspective through the lens of architecture and product design.
