“凹面”（Concave）户外座椅系列由单一的钢管打造而成。设计师在连接材料的过程中发现，通过将金属管的末端敲平，便可以使其插入另一根钢管以实现衔接。该系列产品以标准的工业钢管材料创造了全新的结构语言。除了满足连接的需要，这些金属条还以同样的方式被捶打成适宜的形状，以符合人体的轮廓。椅子的扶手和靠背分别参考了人的手掌形状和背部线条。单人椅和长椅最终呈现出极度轻盈的质感，纤薄的体态仿佛要消隐于其所在的环境之中。

The outdoor ‘Concave’ family is hammered from a single steel tube. In search for a way to interconnect a single material with itself, Christian Heikoop discovered that; by gradually hammering metal tubes flat toward the end, they can be inserted in another tubes void. Creating a new construction language solely using a standard industrial steel tube. Next to the fact that the individual metal rods are shaped according the way they should connect with each-other, they are hammered to flow along with the body. The armrests are shaped to the palm of the hand and the back flows with the curve of the back. The final chairs and benches appear very light, almost disappearing in certain places due to it’s thinness – merging within its surrounding.
