Cloud is a glass globe pendant which provides a gradient light that is amplified downwards.
The characteristic silhouette resembles a cloud and several lamps together appear asymmetric when viewed from different angles and distances. The concept is a development of the common pendant globe. Instead of using a strict symmetric shape which looks identical from all angles it has a curved shape that will change appearance from different positions in a room. To avoid light from flooding the ceiling traditional globes use a wide fixture to block the top.
原理是在灯泡外安上一圈红色亚克力滤光板，实现从上到下的灯色变化。最后套上在石墨模具中创建的玻璃灯罩。祥云便制造完毕了。
The billowing soft shape is created by blowing glass into a graphite mould. The inside of the globe consists of a dimmable light source with a red acrylic light filter, which gradually colours the top side of the glass when lit. The lamp is suspended with a wire attached to the lamp fixture inside.
The cloud shape appears to change from different angles and irregularity may be empha- sized further by dimming lamps in various degrees.
