CHALLENGE:
一次性筷因为使用方便，成本低廉,在中国是外出就餐最常用的餐具。中国人每年消耗450亿双免洗筷需要砍伐大约2500万棵大树，减少森林面积200万平方米，照此速度，20年内森林将从中国彻底消失。然而，以上这些，民众却知之甚少。
Disposable chopsticks are very convenient to use and low-cost. They are the most commonly used utensils when people eat out in China. Every year Chinese consumers use 45 billion pairs of disposable chopsticks, which amounts to around 25 million trees, accounting for 200 square meters of demolished forest area. If this rate continues, forests will disappear from China in just 20 years. However, most people are unaware of this fact.

CREATIVE SOLUTION：
我们从上海各餐饮店回收近3万双使用过的免洗筷，将它们清洗、加工，拼贴成一棵5米高的筷子树，再将其拦腰折断展现在最繁华的街头。用折断的筷子树这个装置形象，直接的告诉民众，使用免洗筷背后的代价是大量树木被砍伐。
DDB recycled over 30,000 used pairs of disposable wooden chopsticks from restaurants all over Shanghai, washed, processed, and designed them to create a five-meter-high chopstick tree structure. The chopstick tree was then broken down in the middle and displayed in a busy district of the city. Through our fallen chopstick tree, we raised awareness of the fact that the use of disposable chopsticks results in the destruction of large numbers of trees.
