Olivo Barber is an Italian photographer who focuses on aerial photography. Through his latest project Adriatic Sea (staged) Dancing People, he explores images which portray the truth of remembrance. Definitely memories are the only objective truth in human possession. All is real, the landscape, the choreography and the people are true. The blue Olivo Barber used is the paradigmatic blue that people see in their mind when they remember a day at the beach.

This dance on the beach is a manifestation of the genius loci of those places.In Rimini but also in the entire Romagna region the folk dance (liscio) is extremely popular and historically regarded by old and new generation. The big disco clubs still stand out like cathedrals in the desert. The dance as a liberating ritual on the blue of the sea, like in a Matisse painting. Peraphs to remove or avoid the painful images of multiple illegal deadly landings in the Mediterranean surrounding areas.
