面对生物与所处环境（海洋、土地）的严峻生态问题，人作为生命但同时又背离了自然生命，腾飞的龙是现在快速发展的中国所呈现出来的状态，在其创造背后，环境的污染事态是城市发展的一个失误。「城市迟疑」作为一个声音，呼吁人与人所处身环境的尊严。对于中国环境问题，创作者在其思考层面上呈现他的理解思维与讨论方式，他阐述一种选择——追求发展是一种选择，同时忽视环境问题也是一种选择。
Severe ecological problems are confronting the Earth’s lives and environment (sea and land). As a part of nature, humans are going against nature. A flying dragon represents fast-developing China, but behind its creation, the ecological pollution is a fault with urban development. “A Hesitating City” is a voice that calls for the dignity of people and their surroundings. For China’s environmental problems, the artist presents his understanding and discussion on a deep level and explains the choice of pursuing economic development and ignoring environmental problems.

采用单一的吸管材料，如今吸管以越来越高的使用率覆盖了餐饮消费市场，塑料材料在环境中近乎永久性的存在正是其对于生态的致命性。设计过程中，向厂家订购吸管的数量需达到10万以上的最低订单门槛，这个数据同时也作为这个作品切入环保主题的一个参数。这个由10万根吸管连构出来的作品向我们展示了一个实质虚无的污染废品。它提出一个疑问：这是我们想要的吗？
The work uses the straw material. Today, straws cover the food and beverage consumer market with increasing rates of usage. The near-permanent presence of plastics in the environment is precisely why plastics are fatal to ecology. Throughout the design phase, purchase from the vendor must achieve at least 100,000pcs. This value is also a parameter for the work to get associated with the theme of environmental protection. The work that made up of 100,000 straws shows pollution and waste of nihility while raising a question: Is this what we want?

由独立的吸管通过内部尼龙细丝以三角形结构相互连接缠绕，复制延伸形成的空间组织形态，近看是一个无限扩延、密集的不规则结构，而从远的角度则支撑为龙的躯体造型。
The straws are connected by internal nylon filaments through a triangular structure, and the spatial organization formed by replicated extension. In the near end, it is an infinitely elongated and dense irregular structure, and from a far angle, it supports the dragon’s body shape.

本次展览使用了特定的场馆空间，装置作品在空间上与建筑的属性产生对话，创造了具备冲击力的设计语言，根据建筑空间的条件，一条40米的长龙贯穿建筑的空间，通过色彩、形体与环境的塑造制造一种矛盾，其反映中国商业发展环境与环保生态周遭的集中矛盾。这个矛盾建立在美的诱惑与现实的反思之间，通过将一种非自然的美感与现实联系，创作者尝试把握城市发展的矛盾去成立一个警惕性。
The exhibition occurs in a specific venue space, allowing installations to interact with the attributes of the building, create a design language with visual impacts, and form a contradiction through colors, forms and the environment. The contradiction is based on the temptation of beauty and the reflection on reality and, by connecting the unnatural beauty with the reality, offers the visitors thoughts and imaginations of people and nature.

采用明亮的色彩以视觉手法有力地强调污染问题的饱和状态。作品运用污染性材料制造一种虚幻美感，其艺术色彩与商业消费制造联系在一起，呈现出一种迷幻的外在诱惑性，这种诱惑即是快消费的形式美感。
The work uses bright colors to visually emphasize the saturation of pollution problems. The work uses polluting materials to create a beautiful illusion and, its artistic color is associated with commercial consumer manufacturing, presenting a psychedelic external temptation which is the nominal beauty of fast consumption.

艺术家作为时代的思考者，艺术作品的表达受到限制而又充满反抗精神，其探索作品与现实的关系，同时将这个思考形式与对话呈现在公共空间，在环境的大题材下，创作者作为一个分割者将事件的两面性阐述在公众面前，比起直接的接收反馈，它注重的是带来公众思考的紧迫性。
Artists are the thinkers of the times. Artistic expression is as limited as it is rebellious. In exploring the relationship between art and reality, artists present this form of thinking and dialogue in public space. Under the theme of the environment, the artist draws more attention to the urgency of environmental problems rather than direct feedback.

如果是因为习惯便宜的话，这个作品就太low了。如果着十万个吸管是作者捡的，我钦佩。
视觉感挺棒的，要是十万根吸管是 垃圾回收过来的，可能社会意义就更加不一样了。
终于有一天这和装置会撤掉，吸管会被扔掉，然后再污染环境的道路上又填了10w根习惯尸体。。。。。。为什么不用环保材料做出吸管的形态呢？省钱？好施工？
看到这个吸管组成的装置，特意去搜索了关于吸管的生产、购买、使用和回收，百度出来每日生产的吸管数量以亿论，瞬间觉得不可思议，这么大量的吸管都到哪里去了？环保者说吸管难以回收，我们要拒用吸管。那已经用了的哪些怎么处理呢？那已经被生产出来的怎么处理呢？我找不到答案，只看到吸管还在不断地被生产出来，购物平台上交易单位以万计，生活中广泛地使用。有人关心这些吗？这位艺术家这时候是否在寻找这个答案？看到这个作品，有些佩服这位艺术家，他的环保不是局限个人，而是扩大、公众地。期待知道这10万根吸管会去哪里？找到它的下一个归宿了吗？
对城市和环境的中间状态呈现非常贴合，能在艺术创作的角度把握这种矛盾性，期待你们更多的作品。
使用会制造污染的塑料吸管来促使人们反思环境污染，理念与实践矛盾了吧？做成龙的造型，过于具象，公众看到这样的装置艺术，第一眼可能不会反思环境污染，以为是好看的花灯什么的，他们可能会模仿，使用更多的塑料吸管当做“玩具”，这样的结果与设计者的初衷严重背离啊!
这个倒是稍微过度担心了点，公众很少会使用塑料吸管当玩具的，大部分是用它的实际功能，不过我感觉造型确实可以再商榷一下。

植物怕不是要说一句：MMP
非得把抽象的东西做具体，不是龙就是凤，即没有抽象感觉能力，又没有造型能力。
第一感这是环保吗
比较关心这些吸管最终又去哪儿了？
