People trapped in the “Involution” of the city always want to escape,

项目概况
Project overview

想要感受一座城，就去它的公园走走。广州的老城荔湾，散发着古朴浪漫的色彩，残存着城市的千年记忆。而荔湾湖公园，更能看到地道的老广生活缩影。

1200book&bed就藏在充满市井气息的荔湾湖公园里。闹中取静，为当地市民或背包游客，提供一个闹市中的歇脚处。三座两层建筑，囊括了万册书，百张床，以及适合小酌微醺的酒吧。人们大可以在这里“读书饮酒酣且眠”，然后“不舍昼夜”。

If you want to feel a city, take a walk in its parks.The old city of Guangzhou, Liwan, radiates the color of primitive simplicity and romance, retaining the thousand-year-old memories of the city.In Liwan Lake Park, we can see the authentic miniature of Old Cantonese life.

1200book&bed is hidden in Liwan Lake Park full of city atmosphere.It is located in a quiet place in the downtown, providing a resting place for local citizens or backpackers. There are three two-story buildings, including ten thousand books, hundred beds and a bar suitable for drinking.People can “read, drink and sleep” here, and then “flow away day and nigh”.

温度的延续
The continuation of temperature

从沙发客到私人书房，1200bookshop几经波折，却从未放弃对书和床的试探。经过6年的漫长铺垫，终于迎来了一家理想书店的完全形态：1200book&bed。

入门则为前台，向左走为阅读区，向右走为住宿区（楼梯直上二层），动线分明，减少运营分配及人流指引的问题。 一层是“book”，兼具公共性和私密性的区域——阅读区、咖啡区、活动区。它是成熟的书店模式，在这里可以感受到阅读的极佳体验。二层是“bed”，一个隐秘而开放的理想形态，有作家书房，loft复式多人间，胶囊房，公共交流区，共享功能区……

From couch potatoes to private study, 1200bookshop has experienced many twists and turns, but never give up on the book and bed. After six years of preparation, finally ushered in the complete form of an ideal bookstore: 1200book&bed.

The entrance is the front desk, the left is the reading area, and the right is the accommodation area (the stairs go up to the second floor). The moving line is clear, which reduces the problems of operation allocation and passenger flow guidance.The first layer is “book”, which is a public and private area — reading area, coffee area and activity area. It is a mature Bookstore mode, where you can feel the excellent experience of reading. The second floor is “bed”, a secret and open ideal form, with writers’ study, loft duplex, multi world, capsule room, public communication area, shared function area……

书籍陈列架、石膏雕像，以及一些文案标语，都无不延续着1200bookshop的整体风格与鲜明精神。

Book display shelves, plaster statues, and some copywriting slogans all continue the overall style and distinctive spirit of 1200bookshop.

进入二层，首先映入眼帘的就是一个巨大的书墙。整个书架依墙而设，密密麻麻的书籍形成一整面的超高书墙，给人视觉的震撼感，也在一定程度上给阅读者带来满足感。

Entering the second floor, the first thing you see is a huge book wall. The whole bookshelf is set up according to the wall, and the dense books form a whole super-high book wall, which not only gives people a sense of visual shock, but also brings readers a sense of satisfaction to a certain extent.

我们想象着早晨被阳光叫醒，餐桌上有阳光陪伴，或者就倚坐窗口等待阳光的青睐……一年四季，那些在阳光下发呆的时刻，都美好得让人无法拒绝。于是，借助自然光在空间设计的诗意表达，我们力求贴近生活并真实且自然地展现。

利用空间的设计，去还原我们记忆中的生活场景。走廊的尽头，是理想主义的生活场。

We imagine being awakened by the sun in the morning, being accompanied by the sun on the dining table, or just sitting by the window waiting for the favor of the sun Throughout the year, those moments in a daze in the sun are too beautiful to refuse. Therefore, with the poetic expression of natural light in space design, we strive to be close to life and truly and naturally show.

Using the design of space to restore our memories of life. At the end of the corridor is the life field of idealism.

让光来做设计
Let the light do the design

满洲窗，岭南建筑的一个独特符号。当阳光透过烛花玻璃洒满一室，心沉静，美好不言而喻。只要有光的地方，就有风景。

Manchuria window is a unique symbol of Lingnan architecture. When the sun shines through the candlelight glass all over the room, heart is quiet, beauty is self-evident. Where there is light, there is scenery.

朝着有光的地方望去，它在与风蹁跹，与世间万物细语。当一缕光线跳进手心，像稚气未脱的孩子在恣意释放天性。这种自然光带来的自由感和舒适度，是无可取代的。

Looking towards the place with light, it is dancing with the wind and whispering with all things in the world. When a ray of light jumps into the palm of the hand, it is like a childish child releasing his nature wantonly. The sense of freedom and comfort brought by this natural light is irreplaceable.

在中空院落，我们几易其稿，最终敲定在不改动原本的空间结构下，赋予它更多的功能。例如，活动舞台、电影室、休闲咖啡厅……而隔层玻璃的设置，一是降低自然天气对室内体验的影响，二是增加二层空间区域，以便店主在运营时将其设置为活动打卡地。

In the hollow courtyard, we changed the draft several times, and finally decided to give it more functions without changing the original spatial structure. For example, activity stage, movie room, leisure Cafe The setting of partition glass, one is to reduce the impact of natural weather on the indoor experience, and the other is to increase the second floor space area, so that the shopkeeper can set it as an activity punch in place during operation.

自由与情怀
Freedom and feelings

青旅的有趣，是装满了人与人的故事。挑高8米的空间，内置双层的loft多人间。这里是群体性狂欢，挥洒自由的特色空间。夜幕降临，三五成群，畅聊人生。

What’s interesting about CyTS is filled with stories about people. It has a space of 8 meters high, with a double-layer loft. Here is the characteristic space of group Carnival and freedom. As night falls, small groups, chat about life.

loft套间，带独立卫浴和阳台。坐在沙发上，或看书或发呆或看轻纱曼舞，光影撩拨，一切都是随性又自由，浪漫且惬意。室外是志同道合的热闹，室内是独处时的清静。

无论是多人间还是豪华间，睡的不只是外在的入住体验，更多的是追求精神上的享受。青旅，是人们温情内心和情怀的寄托场所。

Loft suites with separate bathrooms and balconies. Sit on sofa, or read a book or be in a daze or see light gauze mange dance, light and shadow flicks, everything is random and free, romantic and comfortable. Outdoor is the lively like-minded, indoor is the solitude of solitude.

Whether it is a multi-room or a luxurious room, sleeping is not only the external experience of staying, but also the pursuit of spiritual enjoyment. Youth tourism is a place for people to express their warmth and feelings.

一说梦想好像很激情澎湃，其实开青旅开书店都是20来岁、文艺青年时候的念头，现在来做这个，大概就是为了完成，那已经不叫梦想，而是叫夙愿。——1200book&bed掌柜 刘二囍

最治愈的，是躲进书房后，世界与我无关。偶尔探出头来也能看看外面的世界。一人、一床、一房间。无论白天黑夜，躺在书堆上，尽情与书缱绻。在里面不担心被打扰，独享自己的私密空间。

The most curative, is to hide in the study. The world is none of my business, but sometimes you can look out and see the world. One person, one bed, one room. Day or night, we can lie on the pile of books and enjoy them to our hearts’ content. Inside, we don’t have to worry about being disturbed. We can enjoy our own private space.

无论是灵魂还是肉体，在这里都可以实现从现实暂时抽离。在一个与书有关的空间，使我们凌乱的思想和疲乏的肉体都得到暂时的和解。而这个空间，我们可以任意站立行走，倚坐阅读，无论何种形式，我们只是将人们日常而珍贵的生活方式搬过来，变成一种新的窗口。

Both soul and body can be temporarily separated from reality here. In a space related to books, our disordered thoughts and tired bodies are temporarily reconciled. And in this space, we can stand, walk, sit and read at will. No matter what form, we just move people’s daily and precious way of life and turn it into a new window.
