中国设计师张周捷的最新作品Mashing Mesh系列将在Gallery ALL的组织下于纽约展出，展览时间为5月4日到5月9日。在过去，我们曾介绍过出生于中国宁波的张周捷的作品Triangulation系列，在上个系列中，张周捷试图用数字技术与三角形自由表面去追求“无为”，“无设计”，“自然而然”的家具。在2016年的新作中，张周捷依然将数字技术与三角形自由表面作为手段，不同的是，他这次力求模拟水的动态。虽然每一件作品都是由精密切割的金属与手工弯曲和抛光的方法完成，但在设计过程中，水的形态由张周捷开发的独特计算机程序完成，因此设计成果如同水的形态那般，是无限和不可预测的。

Gallery ALL will present Zhoujie Zhang newest works at Collective Design Fair in New York from May 4 to May 9.

A major new collection after his iconic Triangulation Series, Zhoujie Zhang has been working on the Mashing Mesh Series for the past 2-3 years. Based on mesh—the basic computer graphic language—Zhoujie simulates the dynamic form of water. The design is accomplished by precise metal cutting, manual bending, and polishing. In this series, the static and dynamic condition of the water is calculated by the computer program developed by Zhoujie. The possibility of design outcome is unlimited and unpredictable, just as the inherent nature of the water.
