The Gabriel Chandelier is the first permanent contemporary piece installed in the Château de Versailles and hangs over the Gabriel Staircase at the main entrance to the palace.

Measuring 12 meters in hight and weighing half a tonne, the chandelier manufactured by crystal brand Swarovski, is composed of 800 crystal modules. These pieces are threaded around a stainless steel skeleton containing a led lighting system.
