圣本笃教堂是坐落于瑞士东南部一座美丽的小村庄，由普利兹克奖得主彼得·卒姆托设计完成。教堂整体平面造型犹如一个水滴，建筑外立面采用木瓦一层一层铺设而成。在阳光和雨水的作用下，木质瓦片的颜色随着时间不断变化，在这里人们能感知时间变化留给建筑的痕迹。
St. Benedict, located in a beautiful village in southeastern Switzerland, was built by Peter Zumthor, the winner of the 2009 Pritzker Prize. The overall shape of the chapel is like a water drop, and the facade of the building is paved with layers of shingles. The color of wooden tiles changes with time under the influence of sunlight and rain, where people can perceive the traces of time.

This chapel is the last stop of this study tour in Switzerland and is perfect as an end of the pilgrimage. Here you can feel the philosophy of Zumthor from the design of the chapel. You can feel his oath of love and accuracy for architecture.
