The Rising Side Table design combines elegance and functionality. The table top is carved from a single piece of wood, thereby increasing the table’s practical uses considerably.
Yet, the design never loses its playful accents: thanks to clever construction choices that create the illusion of a ‘levitating table top’.
Another defining aspect of the Rising Table is the fluid way the wooden beams come together to holds up the table top. Usually, wood is known for its unwielding rigidness. Yet, by slightly twisting every single beam around its axis, the Rising Side Table forms to create a sturdy latticework that appears to be in a perpetual wave like motion.
On top of that, the Rising Side Table is constructed using an innovative new hinge system that ensures its light weight and easy to handle, without losing any of its esthethic qualities.
