La SHED是一家位于蒙特利尔的建筑事务所。对建筑和设计的热情让主创建筑师Sébastien Parent, Yannick Laurin, Renée Mailhot以及另外三位成员走到了一起，创立了la SHED。

La SHED is base in Montreal. It was established when architect associates Sébastien Parent, Yannick Laurin, Renée Mailhot and three talented employees all united by a passion for architecture, design at Montreal, decided to team up to form a firm.

La SHED的办公室位于街道的拐角处，前身是一个小商店。看起来似乎截然不同的内部空间，实际上保留了不少原有的痕迹。事务所十分注重内部空间的开敞度和自然的采光，这个项目也并不例外。透过沿街的大玻璃窗，工作室的内部空间一览无遗。素净的色调让工作室看起来明亮而现代，保留下来的柱子被刷成了荧光橙色，成为室内最跳脱而引人注目的元素。通高的书柜仿佛是旧日商店的留下的印记。架子后面的磨砂玻璃墙将室内空间一分为二，阳光透过玻璃柔和地照射进内部的会议室。

木质的板材，造型简洁的办公桌， 明媚的阳光和精心选择的装饰物，一切的一切让la SHED成为了一个让人放松自在的工作空间。

The office is Located in a former general store, at the corner of a building complex. La SHED perpetuated the vernacular tradition of the place while adopting a contemporary layout.

Openness and lighting are at the very core of all projects completed by the studio. The workshop is visible from the street through the large windows. Interior spaces, including workshop, kitchen and the underground restroom are dominated by whites and grays tones. In the center, the original structure of the building is highlighted by fluorescent orange. The shelves recall the memory of the general store. A frosted glass wall divides the inner space into two sections, while allowing light into the meeting room hidden behind.

Overall, the wood paneling, the trestle tables, lighting and the choice of accessories give the workshop a relaxed atmosphere.
