Vincent Leroy continues to invest the urban space with his latest installation Ghost Halo. Imagined suspended in a street in London’s Shoreditch district, a giant halo levitates above the ground.

这个由120根悬浮在旋转结构上的亚克力管扭曲而成的动感圆环，在路人的注视下缓慢波动并发生戏剧性的变形。时而轻易可见，时而难以察觉，透明杆管漂浮在空中，彼此交叉并与背景重叠。根据物体运动，继而转变为一个轻盈的空中蜗壳。无论是可视的图形还是抽象图案，这个装置看起来几乎接近于无形。通过飘忽不定的存在，这位法国艺术家的新作品也将街道变成了一个超现实的场景，并将我们带入另一个梦幻般的诗意维度。

Slightly twisted and composed of 120 acrylic tubes suspended from a rotating structure, the kinetic ring slowly undulates and deforms dramatically under the eyes of passers-by. Sometimes visible, sometimes imperceptible, the transparent rods float in the air, cross each other and overlap with the background. According to the movement, the mobile metamorphoses into a light and aerial volute. Both graphic and abstract, the installation seems almost immaterial. By its ghostly presence, this new project of the French artist transforms the street into a surreal setting and takes us into another dimension, dreamlike & poetic.
