Beit Kandinof is an historical building, built on the beginning of the 20th century in old Jaffa. The building survived almost completely the years and wars that were in the area.
A young group of artists and nightlife people Connect together to establish their dream- Bar-restaurant in the heart of Jaffa that showcases local artwork, rotating exhibitions, private art studios, and holds classes in the arts. By combining the world of hospitality with the arts.

We started planning and designing with a lot of modesty and a desire to intervene minimally in the existing. The entrance is a bright white space with a bar made of aluminum profiles used for industry.

From the entrance you get to the main space- that space is actually what a commercial street was and instead of the shops on both sides today there are studios for artists. We added wireframe arches of construction iron along this space, which trace the shape of the original arches.

The original stones were exposed, iron frames framing the entrances to the studio and emphasizing the rhythm of movement in the area.
