葡萄牙建筑师Andre Chiote除了喜欢建筑这个工作，还做一些绘画，摄影和插画的工作。这个系列是他做的世界著名博物馆系列插画。这些博物馆有中国王澍的宁波博物馆，BEN的奔驰中心等等。他将建筑独特的要素提炼出来，用简明的图像和色彩勾勒出建筑形象，传达出每个建筑独一无二的美学。
“I’m an architect who, besides this main activity, develops parallel work in painting, photography and illustration. Approaching architecture as an icon I’ve developed a set of images in which the aim was to simultaneously outline the emblematic and distinctive side of the building while creating a graphic composition whose expression could speak out beyond the building itself.”– Andre Chiote
