MAD无疑是中国最受瞩目的建筑师事务所之一，同时在世界范围内也受到极高的关注。MAD每年都收到来自全世界不计其数的工作申请和实习申请。能够进入MAD学习和工作一段时间，职业生涯无疑会变得精彩丰富，在这里的人们，也许是幸运的，但肯定是优秀的。在MAD工作的实习生们，他们脑子里天马星空的想法是什么样的?

Who is your favourite architect? Why?
Well, I admire many architects, I learn a lot from their masterpieces. Rather than admire a certain idol architect, I am more focused on those interesting projects, such as the Netherlands Institute for Sound And Vision. The giant colourful cube is designed by Neutelings Riedijk. The eye-catching facade is composed of large colouful panels on which imprint the famous images and people who have done contribution on the sound and vision career in this country. I appreciate architecture strategically arouse people common memories.

What is the major characteristic of your current school’s education?
The word first came into my mind is freedom. Tutors won’t tell you which you can do or which you cannot do. Instead, they encourage you to try any kinds of interesting way to inspire or help your design. For the third year, we are divided into 5 units and every unit has strong design characteristic such as nature integration or form and space organization, etc.Students can choose to stay in the unit they prefer.

What have you gained during the MAD internship?
Actually, I used to consider office job as a boring and long seating process, but MAD do give me a lot of surprises. I met a lot of new friends here coming from different countries, it is really interesting to know what is going on in other universities. Of course, what influences me most is the participation of those creative constructing projects. This is exactly the most precious thing to a third year graduated student. Knowledge is like box of chocolate, you never know what you gonna get.

What are your thoughts and feelings upon Chinese Architecture and the environment? Any suggestion?
A lot of successful examples though cannot reduce the copy and paste.

What would you do if you were not an architect?
I used to have so many dream bubbles during different ages and of course most of them were broken up by reasons which is really pitiful. Right now, I just hope that I can be a freelance architect with low external force some day.

What would you do if you were not an architect?
Maybe a TV host, I love chatting with people, they always tell their stories. I am a story-over. Although a good host’s job is much more than hearing stories.

What is your dream project?
In terms of the word ”dream”, I probably would think more of a future fascinating refugee designed for those poor people to improve their living quality.

What is your favourite project in your portfolio? Why?
Personally I am a little picky at my portfolio. I always dreamt of doing different proposals after crits. I hope the tiny “dissatisfaction” become my motivation to stick

最喜欢的建筑师是谁？为什么？
我敬仰很多大师与他们的巨作，但是我会更关注于后者。有趣的建筑让我着迷，比如努特林斯.雷代克的荷兰视听研究所。它是一个彩色的大盒子，抢眼的彩色表皮由许多玻璃板块构成。上面立体刻画了曾为荷兰视听事业做出贡献的伟人和名图。我很喜欢这种巧妙的能勾起人们共同回忆的建筑。

你所在学校的教育特点？
我第一个想到的词就是自由。导师们从不限制什么可以做和什么不能做。并且，他们会鼓励学生尝试不同的表达方式，希望可以更好激发和帮助设计。三年级的时候，学生被分为5组，每组都不同的风格，从与自然的融合到形体与空间的讨论，等等，有学生自己来选择自己更想呆的组。

在MAD实习最大的收获是什么？
我以前总是觉得办公室的气氛应该无聊且漫长的，但是MAD给我带来了很多惊喜。不同国家的朋友让我了解到其他大学的丰富学习生活。当然，最影响我的还是亲身感受到为真实工程工作的乐趣，这对一个大学只有三年还有很多不懂的新人是难能可贵的。知识往往就像盒子里的巧克力，你永远也不知道你能学到什么。

你对中国建筑的感触是什么？建议是什么？
涌现了很多好作品，但是复制黏贴的现象还是存在。

你的梦想是什么？
从小就有很多梦想啊，不错都一一破灭了，真是很可惜。我希望以后可以做一个自由建筑师，不用受到外界的压力。

你如果不当建筑师会选择什么职业？
如果可以，希望是主持人。我喜欢和人聊天，听他们说自己的故事,虽然当个好主持人远不止这些。

你梦想中的项目是什么样的？
就“梦想”这个词而言，我会想到希望未来能有个富有创意的庇护所是专门为穷人们设计的，可以让他们生活质量更好。

在自己的作品集中，你最喜欢的作品是什么？为什么？
我时常会在做完答辩后还会晚上梦见其他改进方案的办法。我希望这点“不满足”的劲儿能成为我坚持建筑的动力。
