一个博物馆收藏了一段文明，一座机场连接着整个世界。这一次，我们作为策展方和设计方，与三星堆博物馆、成都天府国际机场共同完成了一次关于文化传播的新探索。在机场内部打造了“神鸟之翼——三星堆天府机场文化展廊”、“堆堆堆咖啡”主题门店、“三星堆文创旗舰店”。让三星堆从博物馆出发，走向更多的地方，让旅途中的碎片时间也能体验到古蜀文明。

A museum preserves a fragment of civilization, while an airport connects the entire world.This time, as the curatorial and design team, we collaborated with the Sanxingdui Museum and Chengdu Tianfu International Airport to explore a new approach to cultural communication.Within the airport, we created “Wings of the Divine Bird — Sanxingdui Cultural Exhibition Corridor at Tianfu Airport,” the themed “Dui Dui Dui Coffee” store, and the Sanxingdui Cultural and Creative Flagship Store.Through these spaces, we hope to allow Sanxingdui culture to travel beyond the museum, reaching more places and enabling travelers to experience the ancient Shu civilization even through the fragmented moments of their journeys.

01 三星堆，不只存在于博物馆
01 Sanxingdui Exists Beyond the Museum

机场，是一座城市与世界相遇的第一站。每天，无数旅客到达、离开，他们或许没有时间专门前往三星堆博物馆，却可以在到达成都的第一时刻，在机场的空间感知这片土地背后的文化。

An airport is the first place where a city encounters the world.Every day, countless travelers arrive and depart. Many may not have the opportunity to make a special visit to the Sanxingdui Museum, yet they can encounter the culture behind this land the moment they arrive in Chengdu — through the spaces of the airport.

三星堆曾在香港故宫文化博物馆展出，展览出口处写着：“铜鸟一觉醒来，时间已经飞行了三千年，太阳还是那个太阳。”对很多人来说，三星堆意味着一座博物馆，一件件青铜器，一段持续挖掘的古蜀文明。但文明从不只存在于被收藏的空间之中。我们希望呈现的，是在城市的入口，为世界递上一张关于三星堆和古蜀文明的文化名片。

Sanxingdui was once exhibited at the Hong Kong Palace Museum. At the exit of the exhibition, a sentence was written:“When the bronze bird awakens, three thousand years have already passed. The sun remains the same sun.” For many people, Sanxingdui represents a museum, a collection of bronze artifacts, and an ancient Shu civilization that continues to be uncovered. But civilization does not exist only within collected objects or enclosed spaces. What we hope to present is a cultural introduction to Sanxingdui and the ancient Shu civilization — a cultural calling card presented to the world at the gateway of the city.

02 从文化符号到空间体验
02 From Cultural Symbols to Spatial Experiences

天府国际机场的建筑设计以“神鸟托日”为核心概念。T1、T2航站楼就像神鸟的羽翼，托起中央圆形的建筑，这一空间形态也给我们带来了启发。因此，我们提出了“神鸟赴日”的空间主题。

The architectural design of Tianfu International Airport is based on the concept of “the divine bird carrying the sun.”The T1 and T2 terminals resemble the wings of a divine bird, supporting the central circular structure. This spatial form inspired our design concept.Therefore, we proposed the spatial theme of “The Divine Bird Flying Toward the Sun.”

文化是厚重的，而商业需要轻盈。如何找到两者之间的平衡，是设计过程中持续思考的问题。机场的主题空间，不只是消费功能，它可以是一段旅程的停留点，也可以是文化旅程的入口。“神鸟之翼”主题展廊的设计，则将三星堆文化中的鸟羽意象转化为空间语言。

Culture carries historical depth, while commercial spaces require lightness and accessibility.Finding a balance between the two became a continuous question throughout the design process.The themed spaces inside the airport are not merely places for consumption. They can become moments of pause during a journey, as well as gateways into a cultural experience.The design of the Wings of the Divine Bird Exhibition Corridor transforms the feather imagery found in Sanxingdui culture into a spatial language.

由于机场通道本身采用玻璃幕墙构成，设计需要保留原有空间的通透感与开放性。同时考虑到机场旅客的不同通行方式，有人通过自动步道快速经过，有人愿意停下来观看。因此，我们采用侧向展板设计，使旅客从不同角度经过时，都能获得不同的信息体验。所有的展墙装饰片都是用神鸟的羽翼演化而来，一片片羽毛共同组成空间序列。

Because the airport corridor itself is composed of glass curtain walls, the design needed to preserve the transparency and openness of the original architecture. At the same time, we considered the different ways passengers move through the airport. Some quickly pass by on moving walkways, while others choose to stop and observe.Therefore, we adopted a side-oriented exhibition panel system, allowing travelers to gain different layers of information and visual experiences as they pass from different perspectives. All decorative elements on the exhibition walls are derived from the evolving form of the divine bird’s wings, with individual feathers coming together to create a continuous spatial sequence.

在370米长的展示区域中，展板内容也围绕三星堆文明的发展展开：左侧呈现三星堆考古发掘的过程，右侧则延伸到三星堆博物馆的展示与研究。除了艺术画面，我们还设置了多个互动停留节点：包括两米多高的“啾啾”形象、三星堆青铜神树演变的神树灯、放大版金面具、青铜太阳轮等。它们不仅是视觉焦点，也成为旅途中可以停留、交流和拍照的文化场景。

Across the 370-meter-long exhibition area, the content follows the development of Sanxingdui civilization.The left side presents the archaeological discovery and excavation process of Sanxingdui, while the right side extends toward the exhibitions and research conducted at the Sanxingdui Museum. Beyond graphic displays, we also created multiple interactive stopping points, including the over-two-meter-tall “Jiu Jiu” character, a sacred tree lamp inspired by the evolution of the Sanxingdui Bronze Sacred Tree, an enlarged golden mask, and bronze sun wheels. These elements are not only visual focal points, but also cultural scenes where travelers can pause, interact, communicate, and capture memories during their journey.

我们想象着T1、T2的两端各有一只神鸟向中间飞翔而来。经过千年的时光交汇，落在天府国际机场的中轴线，最终共同奔赴太阳轮。至此，“神鸟赴日”的古蜀意象，与天府机场“神鸟托日”的建筑概念产生了呼应。

We imagine that at both ends of T1 and T2, two divine birds begin flying toward each other. After crossing three thousand years of history, they meet along the central axis of Tianfu International Airport, ultimately flying together toward the sun wheel. At this moment, the ancient Shu imagery of “The Divine Bird Flying Toward the Sun” resonates with the architectural concept of Tianfu Airport — “the divine bird carrying the sun.”

03 从观看到参与
03 From Observation to Participation

三星堆为何能够持续吸引大家的关注？不仅因为它悠久的历史，更因为它身上的神秘感。那些充满想象力的面具、奇特的纹样、独特的造型，让三千年前的文明与今天的人产生连接。

Why does Sanxingdui continue to attract people’s attention? It is not only because of its long history, but also because of the mystery it carries. The imaginative masks, extraordinary patterns, and distinctive forms create a connection between a civilization from three thousand years ago and people today.

在设计“神鸟之翼”主题展廊时，我们尝试将古蜀文明的精神意象转化为空间体验。展板中的视觉内容由中央美术学院的老师们创作完成。我们通过动线测试确定观看距离，使旅客在移动过程中获得连续的视觉体验。

When designing the Wings of the Divine Bird Exhibition Corridor, we attempted to transform the spiritual imagery of ancient Shu civilization into a spatial experience.The visual content presented on the exhibition panels was created by professors from the Central Academy of Fine Arts. Through circulation studies and viewing-distance testing, we determined the optimal viewing distance, allowing travelers to experience a continuous visual narrative while moving through the space.

空间中的栅栏展板，会随着观看角度产生变化。竖向壁画式展板结合顶部轻质透光结构，通过智能灯光系统产生不同光影变化，让空间随着时间呈现不同状态。羽毛造型的材料选择上，我们选择金属板到金属网的递进变化，呈现从厚重到轻盈的材质转化，延续我们的空间主题。

The perforated exhibition panels within the space create changing visual effects as the viewing angle shifts.The vertical mural-like panels, combined with lightweight translucent structures above, use an intelligent lighting system to generate different variations of light and shadow, allowing the space to present different expressions throughout the day. For the feather-shaped elements, we selected a gradual transition from metal panels to metal mesh, expressing a transformation from solidity to lightness and continuing the core spatial theme.

色彩方面，我们没有直接复制青铜器的沉重质感，而是提取青铜氧化后的色彩变化。以接近绿松石的色调作为空间基底，并结合青铜金色的渐变，让空间既具有历史感，也拥有更年轻、开放的表达。最终，这些巨大的“羽翼”成功融入机场。

In terms of color, we did not directly replicate the heavy visual quality of bronze artifacts. Instead, we extracted the color changes created through bronze oxidation. Using turquoise-like tones as the spatial foundation and combining them with gradients of bronze gold, the design achieves a balance between historical depth and a younger, more open expression. Ultimately, these enormous “wings” successfully integrate into the airport environment.

三星堆文创店与“堆堆堆”咖啡店，则进一步延伸了这种体验。三星堆文创店以“鸟巢”为设计理念，延续展廊的“神鸟羽毛”的设计语言，构建出一个充满想象力的“鸟巢”空间，成为三星堆文化进入生活的起点。

The Sanxingdui Cultural and Creative Flagship Store and the “Dui Dui Dui” Coffee Shop further extend this cultural experience.Inspired by the concept of a “bird’s nest,” the Sanxingdui Cultural and Creative Store continues the design language of the exhibition corridor’s “divine bird feathers,” creating an imaginative nest-like space that becomes a starting point for Sanxingdui culture to enter everyday life.

另一侧的“堆堆堆”咖啡店，则将神鸟尾羽的形态转化为空间语言，并融入三星堆建筑意向的灵感。由于店铺位置相对隐蔽，我们通过发光吧台与门头设计增强空间识别度，让旅客更容易发现它。

On the other side, the “Dui Dui Dui” Coffee Shop transforms the form of the divine bird’s tail feathers into spatial language while incorporating inspiration from Sanxingdui’s architectural imagery.Because the store is located in a relatively hidden area, we enhanced its visibility through a luminous counter and distinctive entrance design, making it easier for travelers to discover.

三星堆文创店与“堆堆堆”咖啡店分别位于天府国际机场T2与T1航站楼，处于神鸟之翼主题展廊的两端。三星堆神树演化而来的灯具，也分别置入空间之中，成为连接过去与当下的文化媒介。它们并不是三个独立的空间，而是共同构建了一条从文化认知，到空间体验，再到消费参与的完整路径。

The Sanxingdui Cultural and Creative Flagship Store and the “Dui Dui Dui” Coffee Shop are located respectively in Terminal 2 and Terminal 1 of Tianfu International Airport, positioned at the two ends of the Wings of the Divine Bird Exhibition Corridor.Lighting installations inspired by the evolution of the Sanxingdui Sacred Tree are placed within both spaces, becoming cultural mediums connecting the past and the present. They are not three independent spaces, but together form a complete cultural journey — from cultural awareness, to spatial experience, and finally to active participation through consumption.

04文化传播的新入口
04 New Gateways for Cultural Communication

今天的机场，不只是承担着交通功能。人们到达目的地后，会无意识地寻找着这座城市的第一印象。因此，机场空间除了回应着效率，也需要承载着情感与文化的连接。如何让文化在行走过程中被阅读？如何让等待登机的过程，成为了解一座城市的开始？文化发生的场景在不断地延伸。机场、高铁站、商店、咖啡厅……越来越多公共空间成为文化传播的新入口。对设计而言，我们关注的不只是空间形式，而是如何让文化真正进入人的生活。

Today, airports are no longer spaces that simply serve transportation functions.When people arrive at a destination, they unconsciously search for their first impression of the city.Therefore, airport spaces must respond not only to efficiency, but also carry emotional and cultural connections. How can culture be read while people are moving through space How can the waiting time before boarding become the beginning of discovering a city? The contexts in which culture emerges are constantly expanding.Airports, high-speed railway stations, retail spaces, cafés…More and more public spaces are becoming new gateways for cultural communication. For designers, our focus is not only on spatial form, but on how culture can truly become part of people’s everyday lives.
