Gebrüder Thonet was a European furniture manufacturer. In 1853,it is created by Michael Thonet in Vienna.From the time Gebrüder Thonet being fundated, it is always inviting some famous designers like Adolf Loos to design furnitures for them.

Plump Thonet

Plump Thonet是对150年前维也纳Gebrüder Thonet公司的经典产品“第十八号座椅”的一次精彩重绎。相比经典的“第十八号座椅”，新的椅子增加了柔软舒适的黑色皮革坐垫。坐垫上整齐排列了16个整齐的圆孔。这些圆孔有助于确定椅腿的位置，舒适的木质椅背也由这些圆孔固定。精美的锥形铜椅腿支撑整把椅子，铜制的扶手衔接起坐垫和靠背，巧妙地把这两种不同的元素统一起来。大受欢迎的“第十八号座椅”到1930年大概累计生产了五千万把，并且直到今天，依然很大程度的保留了最初被设计出来的样子。

Plump Thonet is an outrageous interpretation of the 150 year old Viennese cafe classic ‘No.18 Chair’ by Gebrüder Thonet.The iconic No.18 backrest is retained and augmented with a rather plump seat made of soft dark leather, the seat is punctuated with 16 brass lined holes arranged in a grid, these helps define the location of the legs and are designed to receive the bend wood back rest.Delicate brass capped conical legs hit the floor providing support, whilst a wrap around brass arm rest helps unify the two disparate elements of seat and back. Thonets hugely popular Model no. 18 was first manufactured in 1876 – with some 50 million made between 1859 and 1930 – It has remained largely unchanged since first manufacture.

STRETCH

‘STRETCH’ 是一把设计简洁的折叠椅，椅子的由弯曲的金属管件和皮革组成。水平的金属管件连接着皮质坐垫，竖直的金属管件连接着皮质靠背。金属管件和皮革之间的张力可以让人坐的非常舒服。

STRETCH’ is a simple stackable chair made from bent tubular steel and stretched leather that spans between the opposing horizontal and vertical tubes to provide firm yet comfortable support to the seated body.
