A handbag designed for an Italian online platform “up to you anthology”, specializing in bags. The brand is unique in that it is not limited to professional designers and is open to design proposals from anyone, and provides total support from product development to manufacturing management and online distribution.

每只手袋由单张激光切割的皮革制成，表面覆盖以植物提取的鞣酸，因而变得平整且光滑。在不借助任何工具的情况下，使用者只需将铆钉穿入小孔，即可将皮革折叠为一个立体的手袋。这样的设计不仅简化了制作工序、显著降低了存放和运输成本，还有利于开发出兼具多种色彩、尺寸和造型的种类丰富的产品。每只手袋都可以被看成是由“一张”材料构成，因此也被赋予了“mai”（日语中的“枚”，即“张”的意思）这一名称。

The bag was designed as a single laser cut sheet of leather died with plant derived tannin that can be distributed completely flat. Without any tools customers can fold and assemble it into a three dimensional bag, just by joining a few rivets through the holes of the bag. This simplified the manufacturing process and minimized inventory and shipping cost, allowing a rich collection of various colours, sizes and shapes. Because of its form, this bag can be counted as one sheet, two sheets, or, in Japanese, ichi-mai, ni-mai, and so, the bag was named “mai”.
