Mae Engelgeer’s Work

这些清新淡雅的织物出自荷兰阿姆斯特丹的女性设计师Mae Engelgeer，她在阿姆斯特丹开设了自己的工作室，作品常常采用各种鲜艳醒目的色彩，运用独有的图案样式与色彩搭配，创作出别具一格的织物。为生活带来不一样的色彩与品质。

 

毛毯 Blanket

采用渐变色彩，橘色和红铜色细条纹设计，主色调为薄荷绿、裸色、橘色和灰色；棉、马海毛、美利奴羊毛三种
材料混合制成，柔软舒适。尺寸145*165cm。

copper. Mixture of mohair and merino wool with cotton. Size 145*165cm.

茶巾Tea towels

茶巾系列：粉色，黄色，绿色三种不同颜色。尺寸50*65cm。
Collection of 3 tea towels with different color fades and graphic patterns.
Pink-ish, yellow-ish and mint-ish color palettes. Size 50*65cm.

 

Lil+lila

一套编织餐巾：Lil颜色较暗，而lila相对明丽。餐巾图案极不规则，中间穿插红铜色和光橙色条纹。棉和亚麻
纱两种材料混合制成。尺寸35*47cm。
Set of 2 wowen placemats. Lil more grey and lila more pastel toned. The fabric has an irregular graphic stripe pattern, interrupted by horiztontal lines in copper and neon orange. The quality is a mixture of cotton and linen yarns. Size 35*47cm.

 

Flock

Flock系列图案的灵感来自于大理石，并印染成砾石的暗灰色。边缘是绿色的渐变色加以橘色和红铜色条纹点缀。
The flock pattern is inspired by marble stones and has a faded grey color such as gravel. The sides have a green color gradation and a hint of pop color orange and copper.

 

NERV

毛毯系列：2种不同色彩设计的厚毛毯。采用两种纱线穿插编织，构成了表面凸出的效果，产生了三种不同的结构。毛毯背面的图案和纹理更加清晰。
Collection of 2 “heavy knit” blankets in different colorways. Using 2 yarns, floating into each other resulting in an emerged effect on the front side, creating 3 types of structures. The backside of the blanket ends up with a more clear graphic and mirrored pattern.

 

YEAH

受到多节且具有厚重羊毛触感的Berber和Boucherouite地毯的启发，我希望借由地毯和墙毯来展示我的设计理念。不同的颜色区块、颜色渐变和不同高度的处理最终构成了两块有趣而柔软的布艺品。尺寸90*180cm（不含流苏）
Inspired by the Berber and Boucherouite style carpets with knotted and heavy wool feel, i wanted to translate my signature onto a rug and wall rug. Playing with different heights and loops, color fades and color blocks resulted in two playful soft toned designs. YEAH rug size 90*180cm excl. Fringe

Mae Engelgeer is a textile designer from The Netherlands. Her studio is located in the city centre of Amsterdam looking out over the canals near Kadijksplein. This is the place where she designs her collections and where the finishing of the products takes place by giving them a label, hangtag or signature stitch in pop-color orange yarns.
The developments and productions of the fabrics take place at the TextileLab in Tilburg. She likes to design colorful and eye catching products which are like a piece of art in any interior. More and more she is asked for her graphic style, feeling with color and ‘festi’ dessins by other parties. She joins them in the creative development for textile or product design.
