Appreciation towards POV for providing the following description:

中餐厅满堂位于澳大利亚墨尔本。这间餐厅有着丰富的材料：传统深色石材，东方图案装饰，木材，混凝土饰面，玻璃砖等等。照明设计旨在突出这些丰富，创造一个温暖开放的空间。这个繁华的空间与同样琳琅满目的食物相辅相成。每种材料，每种颜色都在灯光的引导下发挥出最大的优势。高大天花板上掉垂的灯具也非常引人注目。

主要用餐区主色是黄色，红色，木材。这里灯光整体暗淡，只有某些地方呈对比高亮效果。包间色彩淡雅，给人明亮开放的感受，其丰富的主光源和辅助光源十分有层次，满足中国传统宴会的需求，也符合西方审美。所有区域的壁灯和吊灯即传统也现代，恰到好处的出现在空间中。

“The brief for the interior design was to create a warm yet dramatic space based on traditional Chinese teahouse themes. The literal translation of Man Tong is ‘full house’, so the intention for the interiors is to form a backdrop for a bustling space that is to be filled with food and chatter.

POV were asked to design feature and architectural lighting to help achieve a sense of warmth and airiness to a variety of spaces. A large palette of materials were brought together in this design, and the lighting needed to be carefully considered to highlight each colour, texture and material to its best advantage. Uplighting of the feature pitched ceiling in the main dining room was also important to show the volume of the space, with the insertion of custom-made oversized ‘lantern’ pendants helping to accentuate this.”
