My blog is about fashion and everything that inspires it: art, design, nature, architecture, photography and more. What I do is pairing beautiful fashion-related pictures with photos that I find related to them in different ways, such as colours, shapes, sensations, concept.

FAQ:

When and why did you start this blog?
I’m constantly inspired by the beautiful pictures that I find here on tumblr and I just felt like I needed to do something.. so I started this blog in summer 2013. I never thought it would go so far, I gave it the first name that came to my mind!

How do you make the matches?
Sometimes a fashion picture reminds me instantly of something and I go look for it, sometimes it’s a random picture that makes me think of an outfit or editorial. Occasionally it happens that by chance I see two pictures near each other on my dashboard or in a random blog that perfectly go together. Also I have A LOT of photos that I saved on my computer because I found them interesting, it’s like my personal archive and I use it a lot to make matches.

It would be great if you added references to the matches, can you do that?
I started doing it and I’m planning on adding them to every other match as well little by little!

Where do you find the pictures?
99% of the images are from Tumblr (and this is why I freaking love Tumblr), the rest is either from Google or Pinterest!

Do you photoshop the pictures?
I do often use photoshop to get the perfect colour match, but I usually only edit the picture on the right side, the fashion picture is original.

What uni do you go to? What subjects do you study?
I’m studying fashion design in Milan (Italy) at Politecnico di Milano, and this year I’m going to graduate! We study everything useful to be prepared to get into the fashion world: drawing, sewing, graphics, business, materials and fabrics, history of fashion/design/art, photography and so on.

What do you want to do in the future as a job?
I’m not sure yet, but I would love to become a fashion photographer or maybe a fashion editor in the future. High fashion magazines are my favourite thing (my mum always yells at me because I buy too many), it would be amazing to be part of that world!
