若说家居休闲，人们大多时候都会呆在沙发里—聊天，看书，玩游戏，看电视……在便携式电子设备越来越多的今天，1991年出生的伊斯坦布尔年轻设计师Burak Kocak设计了一款适应现代生活，带有不同功能空间的多功能沙发。以紧凑的布局安置了搁架单元，茶几，灯架，储存空间，学习空间。搁架上面的插座可以十分方便房子需要充电的电脑，手机和其它电子设备，也让他们与我们保持伸手可及的距离。顶上的灯架为夜晚的阅读提供了光明。这个紧凑的沙发单元适合较小的公寓或者卧室。当然，沙发坐席十分宽敞，舒适。灰色羊毛软垫现代又简约，十分百搭。

Herb is a multifunctional sofa and a living space which combines different functions and creates the sofa which we spend most of our time. The idea was to create a compact space that combines multiple functions for the area in which people spend much of theirtime at home. The sofa sits nestled between a shelving unit and a side table that holds a plant, providing storage and work space.

The shelf itself is equipped with a power unit, so that devices such as laptops and phones can be charged within reach.

Further to this, the system also has a lamp that hangs over the sofa for late night readers. It is essentially your entire living room within an extremely compact space, perfect for smaller apartments and even bedrooms. Of course the sofa itself is large and comfortable, upholstered in grey wool that adds to Herb’s modern and minimal look. It is usable, adaptable and a product that naturally has it all.

About Burak Kocak :
Burak Kocak was born in Istanbul in 1991. He studied Industrial Design at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Istanbul. He worked as senior product designer at Autoban, after which he undertook a Masters in Product Design at Scuola Politecnica di Design, Milano. In Italy he worked with several Italian companies such as Irsap, Rapsel, Mogg. In 2013 he founded Pine&Soup, with a partner, a multi-disciplinary studio which creates leather goods, small products and accessories. He currently pursues his great interest in furniture and materials.
