一款由若干构件拼接的座椅，构件间的交接方式类似中国古建木结构的交接。没有看到钉子和胶水的痕迹。手工制作，价格合理。

2014 BEAM armchair for Kuperus & Gardenier

Kuperus & Gardenier新款扶手椅。该款扶手椅是一个系列产品的第一件作品，该系列产品包括扶手椅、不同尺寸的餐桌和软垫扶手椅。

New armchair for Kuperus & Gardenier. This is the first piece of a collection of products including an armchair,various sizes dining tables and an upholstered version of the armchair.

该款座椅的组成构件拥有不同的轮廓，以凸显其各自不同的功能。所有的结构构件呈方形，看起来很像木质结构梁。座板和与身体接触的构件为圆形，但拥有不同的轮廓，突出其不同的特点和作用。

A chair that uses different profile types to highlight the roles of different areas of the design. All the structural elements are squared, like wooden construction beams. All parts that involve sitting or touching are rounded and have different profiles accenting their own character and role.

我们与Kuperus & Gardenier合作设计了这款座椅。该座椅几乎完全手工制作，生产量很少以保证完美的外观，其零售价格十分令人满意。座椅靠背由若干构件拼接形成而并非由一根木条弯曲而成，这样，精小如Kuperus & Gardenier的企业能自主完成各个工艺，在自己的车间内就可以从头到尾控制整个生产流程。

今年随后将推出餐桌和软垫扶手椅。

We worked closely with Kuperus & Gardenier to design a chair that even in small series reaches a very good retail price, without letting this influence the visual outcome and considering the fact that the chair is almost completely manufactured by hand. The chair’s backrest is constructed from pieces rather than bending it, this creates the opportunity for a small company as Kuperus & Gardenier to do everything themselves and control the manufacturing process from start to finish from their own workshop.Table and upholstered chair will be available later this year.
