这间位于东京港区的旗舰店铺收集了三宅一生副线男装品牌HOMME PLISSÉ ISSEY MIYAKE的完整阵容。店内摆放着一台大型的褶裥机，旨在为顾客展示给衣物打褶的全过程。
设计的灵感来源于规则的纹理与未来机器之间的奇妙对比：通过融合实验性的技术和工艺，向人们展示三宅一生独特的褶皱美学。
Laboratory designed by Tokujin Yoshioka. A flagship store with the full lineup from HOMME PLISSÉ ISSEY MIYAKE. There is a pleating machine installed to show customers how pleating is applied on a garment. You can watch the process of the pleats being created in the workshop where the pleating machine sits.
In this space that depicts the contrast between the texture steadily being produced and the futuristic machine, we find the reflection of making things of ISSEY MIYAKE, which is a fusion of experimental technology and handcraft.

对比建筑外表皮铝板的明显的现代工业味道，室内素混凝土的和暴露的风机盘管的运用就显起来不是原始的朴实而有一点点粗糙了……个人拙见
感觉现在的设计师都太喜欢运用这种混凝土的肌理了，但是内部空间却没有相应的处理，让整个效果变得非常的不亲人
