鹿特丹艺术家Brit Hammer用水泥创作出色彩缤纷的优雅抽象画作，这些画作能为空间带来平和的氛围。这次为大家介绍她的三个作品：”Unity”（团结）, “Freedom”（自由） 和 “Serenity”（宁静）。虽然传统的壁画通常采用石膏，但是Brit Hammer采用了更为粘稠的水泥，经过多年的实践，她已经找到自己的自己的创作路径，并通过孜孜不倦的创作呈现出生命之花的绚丽多彩。

Rotterdam artist Brit Hammer has brought fresco painting into the 21st century. Colors gracefully blend together in her abstract, lyrical paintings, creating peace and harmony in the homes and offices where her artworks are hung.

Brit Hammer’s artworks are created with positive energy in mind. Shown here are her artworks: “Unity”, “Freedom” and “Serenity”.

Though traditional fresco paintings were created in plaster, Brit Hammer creates her fresco paintings in cement that she sculpts with her hands. It’s a challenge to move fast enough before the cement begins to set, but after years of practice she has found a way to translate the medium made famous by Michelangelo in a contemporary way.

Through this body of abstract, lyrical fresco paintings Brit wishes to express to viewers to take one’s life into one’s own hands and to create something beautiful with it.
