艺术家Dimitris Taxis于1983年出生于波兰，3岁时宜居雅典。受到身为历史学家和画家的父母的影响，Taxis从小就展现出极高的艺术天分，并且一直在探索用艺术表达自我的方式。Taxis的艺术实践涉及涂鸦、漫画、插画、平面设计和电影等等，街头壁画也是Taxis十分擅长的领域，他期望通过不同风格的作品来展现人们在日常生活中的微妙情绪，捕捉那些容易被忘记或忽视的问题，从而在激发观众共鸣的同时，对人类的感知进行更加深入的探索。Taxis还喜欢尝试各种类型的材料和技术，以便发现自身以及艺术本身所具有的潜力。

Dimitris Taxis was born in Poland in 1983 and moved to Athens at the age of 3. Growing up in an artistic family, he was introduced to the world of art from a very young age, which developed Dimitris’ an urge to find a way to express himself. He is involved with graffiti since 1998, and also has worked as a cartoonist, an illustrator and a cinematographer. In his art he aims to capture the feelings of desolation and hardship, feelings that have always tormented humanity. He believes that his work states obvious matters that many people tend to forget or ignore which in fact is something that should be strongly reexamined. His goal is to provoke the viewer into a conversation with himself in which he can expand or delve deeper according to his own perception. His artwork is more like a game between the picture and the viewer. There is no specific plan as well as technique since they evolve everyday. Thoughts, sketches and style change day after day according to the impulses he gets. He objects to stability so he always tests out every thought that he finds absorbing. He uses a wide variety of materials and techniques both to challenge himself and to discover new potentials.
