2018年夏，刘家琨建筑师设计的蛇形美术馆北京展亭作为首个海外蛇形美术馆展亭，在北京王府中环正式向公众开放。

开放期间，展亭将承载不同的艺术活动。在八月的第一个周末，通过解读刘家琨预埋在展亭的张力，URBANUS都市实践设计了一个有张力的、公众参与的“地图游戏”。设计将相同比例尺的乾隆京城全图和当下北京老城卫星图印制在地垫上，每张地图分解为253块，形成7层交错相叠、每层7.8米×8.4米的北京城地图。

This is a game to illustrate a city’s rapid evolution. Conceptualized and designed by Wang Hui, partner and principal architect at URBANUS, the game features a juxtaposition of an ancient city map of the “Four Nine City” from the Qianlong period, this is set against a Google Maps satellite image of modern day Beijing.

游戏的单元是一款地垫，以北京卫星图和乾隆京城全图为图案，精美的印刷工艺吸引着参与者来拾取，游戏结束以后，可以作为参与者拿回家的礼物。

参与者踏在地图上，将上层地垫掀开，便看到与之对应的另一个时间上的北京，体验古城的今昔对比。

Both maps are laid in layers as well as separated into 253 individual pieces, participants of the game are encouraged to take any one piece of the map with them as a keepsake of their piece of the city.

▼观众扫码发掘隐藏故事

在四九城之中，URBANUS都市实践选取了49处不太为一般人注意的文物建筑，并将它们的故事隐藏在地图的二维码中，由参与者扫码发掘其中的奥妙。

In addition, 49 cultural relics are highlighted within the maps, all indicated with a QR code that participants can scan to learn about historic structures through stories, gaining added historic context and insight. These are provided by author Wang Nan, a professor of architecture from Tsinghua University as well as a scholar of ancient Beijing city.

随着参与者拿走一层又一层的地垫，北京城的古今肌理便不断演变，通过沉浸式的体验让参与者感触城市演化与时间流变，认知这个城市的厚度与魅力。

As pieces of the map are taken, we see a physical manifestation of the city as it changes through time, as well as the integrity of the city as it continues to change with time, creating a new awareness and relationship of the participants with the city.

地图游戏中还包含了演绎京城规划的数理奥妙，通过在7.8米×8.4米的乾隆京城全图上现场互动作图，生动地将清华大学建筑学院教师王南近年来对京城布局构图比例的研究成果展示出来，解读了京城规划之整体与细节的精妙之处。

观众争相参与绘图，而对于终日伏案在纸张上研究北京城构图规律的王南老师而言，这么大尺度的现场作图也令他对古城有了新的体验。

在整个游戏过程中，不同年龄、不同职业的人都很积极地加入到活动中来，有对古今对比的好奇，有寻找自家的乐趣，也有探索故事的欣喜。虽然地图在不断重复着新旧的演变，在整个过程中可以看到，北京城依然顽强地展示着基本面貌，显示出她强大的历史根基。

As time passes and pieces of the maps disappear, we witness the continuous evolution and regeneration of Beijing, a resilient city with endless possibilities.
