I'm an industrial designer originally from New Jersey and currently based in London. I am founder and director of the wellness-focused lifestyle and design brand SHORE. I received my master's degree, with Distinction, from the Design Products department at the Royal College of Art in 2015 (fully funded by the Jack Kent Cooke Graduate Arts Award) and previously received a BFA in Industrial Design and Environmental Studies from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). I also spent a year in Japan as a Fulbright Fellow where I researched traditional craft techniques, design philosophy, and aesthetics. During the year, I apprenticed with a master potter in the Japanese Alps and a traditional furniture maker on Sagami Bay, studied at the renowned woodworking school Shinrin Takumi Juku, and worked with Nendo in Tokyo.
