Since 2011, CENT 15 Architecture has developed an approach rooted in resource efficiency and the transformation of existing spaces, where the relevance of use takes precedence over formal expression.
Founded by Maxime Scheer, the studio first gained recognition with the renovation of the Théâtre du Trianon, a major project that established its careful approach to existing structures and the precision of each intervention. Since then, CENT 15 has worked across a wide range of programs — including housing, restaurants, bookstores, offices and public facilities — in Paris and beyond.
CENT 15’s work is based on a careful understanding of available resources: reuse, material transformation, and the implementation
of restrained construction solutions, often involving natural or bio-based materials such as wood, earth and straw.
