「顽徒ADDICTEA」——2016年诞生自澳洲的中国茶饮品牌,本案是其回归国内的首家门店,同时亦是品牌全球首家旗舰店。
店铺选址武汉江汉路,是明清时期的“中俄万里茶道”,武汉码头文化发源地,也是中国当时第一个往外国输送茶叶的港口。坐落此地,也正是为了讲述这场,中国茶饮出走与回归的故事。
ADDICTEA is the tea drink brand that was founded in Australia in 2016 and has its root in China. This case is about the first shop after its return in China, as well as the first flagship store of the brand all over the world.
The shop is located at Jianghan Road in Wuhan, China. It’s the place where China-Russia Ten Thousand Li Route was started during the period of Ming and Qing Dynasties. Also it’s the birthplace of the dock culture in Wuhan, as well as the first port where China transported tea to other countries. Having the location here, the shop tells the story of Chinese tea drinks going out and returning back.

空间设计以困压孙悟空五百年的“五行山”为原型,引述海外茶饮品牌所面对的困境与思考,及其呼之欲出的倔强精神,以建筑喷薄而出的力量感,描绘山体撼动,大圣已归的锐利气势。

The space design gets the prototype from the Five Elements Mountain that trapped the Monkey King for five hundred years. From this prototype, it portrays the dilemma and thoughts overseas tea drink brands are facing, as well as the tough spirits inside which is about to sprout, the power spurted from buildings. It describes the mountain shaking and the sharp momentum of the return of the Monkey King.

山体崩裂,聚而重组
The mountains collapse, gather and then reconstruct themselves
从外观之,建筑以解构主义美学定义外观,打碎山体形态后重新组合,以新型铝材、镀膜钢化玻璃为主材承托出锐利张扬的结构。
From the outside shape, the building defines its facade from the perspective of deconstructive aesthetics, breaking the mountain shapes and then reconstructing them. The process can bring out the sharp and high-key constructions with the main materials of new aluminum and coated tempered glass.

江汉路人潮熙攘而至,忽而窥见一具未来感金属山体,被挤压困顿于年代感的建筑群中,纵横交错的老旧线路如同枷锁缠绕其间,建筑喷薄欲发,极具碰撞的张力感与不断生长的生命力。
这同时亦是隐喻着当前的时代背景下,人们对于前行的困顿与迷茫,社会的目光如同枷锁,囚禁内心。
People flow to Jianghan Road only to suddenly notice a metal mountain with a sense of the future squeezed and trapped among the buildings with lots of years to have experienced. A maze of the old routes is like a set of chains weaving inside. Buildings gush out with the extension of collision and the vigor of life.
It can also be the metaphor that under the modern background, people feel puzzled and troubled about the way ahead. The gaze from the society is like the chain to imprison the souls.

由内审视,我们试图以黑白定调空间的精神美学。剥离常态化的思考方式之后,以不同的业态划分空间的三重形式,摒弃惯有的商业逻辑,在牺牲部分为表象而存在的商业功能以后,强调品牌主体的内在探索。步入建筑,“顽徒”的成长线索正在徐徐展开。
Looking inside, designers aim to set the main tone as the black and white of the mental aesthetics of the space. Getting rid of the normal thinking pattern, they try to divide the triple forms of the space from the aspect of different types of business. Instead of the formal commercial logics that people are so used to before, after removing some commercial functions that only existed for the superficial reasons, they emphasize the internal seek for the brand itself. Stepping into the buildings, ADDICTEA is improving though its course gradually.

一重境:初生
First field: initiation
拨云见雾
亦真亦幻Break though the clouds to see the fog appear.
It can be the reality while it can be the mystery, too.
取材引自“五行山”所代表的“五行”概念:金、木、水、火、土。融入到具象的空间形式中,转化为自外向内的概念延伸。
The story gets it root from the notion of the Five Elements represented by the Five Elements Mountain which conclude metal, wood, water, fire and earth. When they are mixed into the special forms of the space, they are transformed to an extension of the notion from the outside to the inside.

以清水混凝土、镜面不锈钢、碳化杉木来构建结构的主要形态,凭借镜面反射形成交错繁复的空间质感,凌厉的几何线条并没有带来冷硬拒绝的态度,而是引人置身瑰丽的幻境。
The main forms of the constructions are composed of bare concrete, mirror stainless steel and carbonized Chinses fir. The complicated spatial texture is created by the specular reflection. The sharp geometric lines don’t bring the hard attitude of rejection. However, they bring us to the gorgeous wonderland in imaginations.

眼前的景象被不断切割、复制、重叠,形成凌驾于真实世界之上的奇妙错觉。
The landscape in front of us is constantly cut, copied and overlapped and then gives the mysterious illusion that seems to be beyond the real world.

在直线构筑的框架结构中,圆弧形操作台模拟祥云的形状,落入漆黑如墨的背景,驾风而行,冲霄直上。
大圣腾云驾雾,无不快哉。
In the frame structures built by straight lines, the circular operation platforms simulate the shape of auspicious clouds. Fallen into the dark background, they travel with the power of the wind and fly to the clouds. The Monkey King mount the cloud and ride the mist with fabulous joy.

如果将整栋建筑视为成长的脉络,那么第一重空间则代表顽猴初生的希望,在自由、开放的世界中屡次试探,而未来则藏在光怪陆离的幻像背后,在不断折射的边角,窥探一斑。
It we view the whole building as the skeleton of the process of improvement, then the first layer of the space can stand for the hope for the newborn of the naughty monkey who experiences several adventures in the free and open world. However, the future is hidden behind the grotesque illusions and only a little of it is found though the corner reflected from the edge.

二重境:修心
Second field: Mind cultivation
顽猴入山
辗转幽经中觅得真章The naughty monkey enters the mountains
and seek for the truth though secluded paths.
空间仅设下行的电梯,想要窥得内里,需要沿着台阶拾级而上,从而缓缓揭开属于“顽徒”的精神面纱。
Only elevators going down are equipped in the space. If one wants to have a look at the inside space, he’s going to step higher along the stairs and gradually uncovers the spiritual mist of ADDICTEA.

故事以大圣为原型展开,设计师通过形象化的比拟与戏剧化的表达,试图在视觉与感官层面,赋予观者一场身临其境的山径探索,与行者的精神共同在迷茫中徘徊、思索,沿着山体流动的岩浆一路摸索前行,故事自此达到高潮。
The story unfolds with the prototype of the Monkey King. Designers use the pictorial analogy and the dramatic expressions in order to create an activity of adventure of the mountains and paths for observers from the aspects of vision and sense organs. Together with the walkers’ spirits, they move on through their wondering and thinking along the flowing magma inside the mountains. And the story reaches its climax here.

粗糙的岩石肌理模拟在山林洞穴的探究,勾勒出超脱平常的艺术体验。粗粝的表象下,藏着跃动的心跳与喘息。
The rough texture of the rocks can simulate the exploration of the mountains, forests and caves, portraying the aesthetic experience beyond the normal life. Under the coarse façade, the heartbeats and breaths are hidden.

未见大圣之形,却见大圣之意。
金箍棒与图腾,只是协助想象的线索,身处其间感受到的精神与力量,才是空间最真实的注释。
Without noticing the appearance of the Monkey King, we realize his intentions instead. The golden-banded staff and the totem are only the assistance of imaginations.
The inspiration and power we feel when set inside are the most real explanation of the space.

设计对材质的把握,在反复的碰撞对比中,显得游刃有余,粗糙与光滑,天然与雕琢,原始与现代……也正应和「顽徒」作为一个年轻品牌,置身于汉江路老街的新旧对比,在融合与创新中,寻找自身的定位与意义。
The grasp of the materials seems to be quite capable in the course of constant collision and comparison of coarseness and softness, nature and carving, primitiveness and modernness. It can also echo with the young brand ADDICTEA when it’s set between the comparison of the old and new on the old streets on Hanjiang Road. Among the mixture and innovation, ADDICTEA seek its own location and meanings.

三重境:破境
Third field: Boundary Breakage
山巅相会
豁然开朗The expansive view appears
when the mountain tops meet.
行至山巓
青天如盖,扑面而来At the arrival of the mountain top,
you are wrapped with the blue sky from all directions.

第六层以楼顶吧台的形式讲述山巅相会的故事,白日贩茶,夜晚买醉,当一个茶饮空间破开“茶”的束缚之后,才算真正诠释了“豁达”二字。此时贩卖的物已不是空间的枷锁,反而言之,是建筑本身承托了物品的存在。
The sixth layer tells the story of the meeting of the mountain tops in the form of the rooftop bar. Trading tea during the day while getting drunk in the night, only when the space of the tea drink break up the limitation of the notion of tea can it truly explain the meaning of generousness. At this time, the objections being sold are not the limitations of the space; however, it’s the building itself that gives reasons to the existence of the objections.

回望来路,由明即暗,由轻快至肃然,汇于此刻,皆为过往,前方山河有韵,大地余音荡入耳际,绵绵不绝。
Looking back to the roads we’ve passed. They become dark from bright, rigid from vigorous. When the roads meet here at this moment, all that has passed will not start again. There’s the charm of mountains and rivers on the road ahead. The echoes of the earth come into ears and stay long.

设计师认真地审视品牌、产品与空间三者间的兼容与结合,以建筑的结构为笔,讲述一个关于成长,关于回归,也关于自我救赎的故事。
Designers seriously reckon the compatibility and combination of the brand, products and space. They share the story of self-redemption, growth and return with the technique of architectural structures.

设计师对传统文化与现代审美之间的隔阂,始终怀有着虔诚与敬畏的态度,将东方意识架构于当下流行的层面,不止是关乎品牌本身的定位,也同样涵盖着对时代背景下社会的反思。
Designers always hold the attitude of sincerity and awesomeness towards the division of traditional culture and modern aesthetics. They put oriental consciousness above the mainstream at the moment which includes not only the location of the brand itself, but also the reflection about the society under the modern background.
