L’atelier DEV Architecture is a nomadic architecture studio committed to practicing architecture, art, and research with a spirit of openness and curiosity toward the world.
Though our roots lie between Berlin, Paris, and Brussels, we actively embrace a non-Eurocentric approach, drawing inspiration from intercultural exchanges.
We see architecture as a tool to engage with societal issues, which is why we are involved in research and cultural initiatives. One such initiative is our Architectural Coffee Break, an online lecture series. Additionally, we are part of the Kumbima Collective, a research platform focused on urban and cultural topics.
We are also engaged in academia. Pierre Escobar is a professor of Interior Architecture and Spatial Design at the Berlin International University of Applied Sciences.
