laagland architecten (2024) is the new name for design firm Gino Debruyne & architecten (1989).
Gino Debruyne ( (born in Izegem, 1960) led the architectural firm for more than 30 years and realized numerous projects in the private and public sectors during this period.
What began as an individual practice grew into an architectural firm with a diverse team of both young and experienced employees. In 2022, Marvin Bonny (born in Bruges, 1980) and Bregt Vanderper (born in Roeselare, 1985) became partners, and together with Gino, they continued to shape the strategic and artistic direction.
From 2024, the architecture firm will continue under the new name Laagland Architecten. Built on the foundations of 30 years of experience, Marvin and Bregt, together with an ambitious team of around ten architects, continue to build the future of the firm.
