Casa Hormiga was built with local materials following the teachings of the spirit of Nature. During the process we were inspired by the concept of Wabi-Sabi -aesthetic Japanese term based on finding beauty in every aspect of imperfection-, so we let the roots, leaves and tree branches to guide us. That's why all of our rooms are somehow different with a clear personality: Ether, Earth and Fire.
