She holds a PhD in Architecture (with honors) from the Madrid School of Architecture (ETSAM), a Master's degree from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Barcelona (UPC), and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the Ibero-American University of Mexico (UIA). She has received international accolades, including the Emerging Voices Award from the Architectural League of New York, and her firm was named one of the "100+ Best Architecture Firms" by the specialized magazine DOMUS. In 2020, The New York Times recognized her as one of the 10 women who are changing the landscape of leadership worldwide.
