Common Practice is founded by Inara Nevskaya and Jurrien van Duijkeren and is based in the Spaarndammerbuurt, Amsterdam. Our team has a collective competence in projects of diverse scale and function, with expertise across all phases of the building process.
Jurriën van Duijkeren (1982) studied architecture at TU Delft and the Technical University in Prague before graduating cum laude in 2008. Prior to founding Common Practice he worked on the design and execution of large housing ensembles, schools and universities in Belgium and The Netherlands. Jurriën has taught at the Rotterdam Academy of Architecture and Amsterdam Technical School.
Inara Nevskaya (1982) graduated with honors from the Architectural Institute in Moscow, after conducting her Master Thesis at the Shibaura Institute of Technology in Tokyo.
