Arquitectos Aliados was founded in 2004 and was born out of a project by young architects. The word ‘Aliados’ gives us a double association: the initial location of the first studio (Avenida dos Aliados) and the union of several architects. Thus we began as a laboratory of ideas, challenging and contributing to the design and construction of places. Experimental and collaborative with the contribution of various disciplines. Arquitectos Aliados seeks to develop unique projects, without ‘styles’ or ‘signatures’, working on different scales and programmes: Residential, Hospitality and Services. The studio is currently led by Susana Leite and Luis Barbosa. Arquitectos Aliados' work has been published and mentioned in Atittude, Monocle, Archdaily, Público, JA, Expresso, The Guardian, etc. The work has received several awards, distinctions or nominations
