站在人文、艺术、社会、经济维度
激活城市与社区的生命线

街道是任何城市的生命线。“街道景观”作为一个重要的城市设计元素，有潜力将普通的道路变成一个奇迹发生的地方。任何街景设计都不仅仅是为了改善街道的美感，更应该着眼于可持续发展的方式，使其更有互动性、更有活力、更有归属感；并且，对于任何一个城市来说，街道都是其文化和价值的反映，以塑造城市文化的独特性。因此，设计师都希望更好地借助环境元素，来进行街道的美化和活化。如果一个设计方案能考虑到良性街道生活的要素，如易读性、安全性、适应性和经济性等，那就能为城市提供一个可持续的、具有公共性的、又能为该地区的活力做出贡献的生活、工作和游玩的场所。

创造更具活力和公共参与属性的公共节点空间
建造满足社会福祉需求的公园城市

天府新区“公园城市”以生态优先，绿色发展为引领，人民为核心，塑造“人、城、境、业”高度和谐的大美公园城市形态。

2018年来，在四川天府新区成都管委会公园城市建设局的组织下，成都天府新区投资集团有限公司、中国建筑西南设计研究院有限公司牵头围绕兴隆湖开启公园城市示范引领项目的设计工作，两年来持续在理论探索及项目创新中不断深入实践。2020年距“兴隆湖书店”竞赛后时隔两年，在“后疫情”的背景下，再次由原组织团队发起，以呈现“水清、岸绿、业兴、人和”的公园城市典范为目标，沿兴隆湖畔，新增两个公共建筑节点，在近自然化打造的同时，引入文化、艺术、展演、亲子等城市公共活动，汇聚人气、提升活力，为公园城市赋能。特以此为命题，启动概念设计方案征集

以空间造“园”：
公园城市“首提地”— 天府新区兴隆湖
双心联动，全球方案征集

01
兴隆湖，天府新区的生态之肾

以天府广场为起点，沿人民南路、天府大道一路向南，构成成都市地理上的“中轴线”。天府新区核心区处于此中轴线上，距离成都中心约25公里。通过对伦敦、巴黎、东京等地区的空间结构的研究，发现在25~30公里的空间距离可以形成新的城市核心功能集聚区。兴隆湖便位于天府新区、天府大道南延线东侧，总规划面积5360亩、水域面积约4500亩，平均水深2.5米-3米。兴隆湖作为集防洪、灌溉、生态、景观等为一体的综合性水生态治理项目，是天府新区内规划建设的一座“生态之肾”。

在产业规划和区域定位上，兴隆湖片区主要承担科技创新（科学研发核心区）、对外交往（世界旅游目的地）、生态休闲等核心功能。因此要求它具有高品质的生态环境、茂密的植被、优良的水质、物种多样性；肩负作为展示城绿相融的城市名片的责任；作为人气旺盛的旅游胜地，承接城市重大活动，定期举办体育赛事和文化展演；在此基础上，作为具有公共属性的人民公园，满足人们休闲游憩、运动健身、亲子娱乐、文化艺术活动的需求。

兴隆湖畔的标志性建筑

兴隆湖版块作为新区产业发展的焕新区域，被天府新经济产业园、天府数智谷、鹿溪智谷核心区域等产业经济园区环抱。它以成都主城区最广的水域面积、稀缺的自然环境而被公众所知，但在兴隆湖生态表象之下，潜藏的是对望世界的产业经济能量，已有包括清华紫光、海康威视、京东数字城市、商汤科技、科大讯飞、诺基亚、英特尔等超200家企业在此设立研发驻地。随之而起的，是一系列地标性建筑，它们或大开大合、聚焦产业和产城服务，或温和静谧，为兴隆湖工作和游玩的人们提供休憩和交流场所。

02-1 独角兽岛

“独角兽岛”项目是以独角兽企业孵化和培育为主的产业载体。该项目位于兴隆湖东侧、鹿溪智谷核心区，其规划与建筑方案由扎哈·哈迪德建筑事务所进行设计。在规划方案上，扎哈·哈迪德建筑事务所强调了以下几个方面：绿色能源的使用,并结合海绵城市理念进行可持续性设计；人车分流，人们在整个园区里犹如置身生态公园；智慧城市、复合功能构造等积极配套，智能化管理。整个规划采取了睡莲的概念，形态上犹如一朵朵绽放的莲花。不同于传统的建筑设计方式，这些莲花造型是通过以拓扑学为基础的信息学技术进行优化计算得出。其大小尺寸是在连接性、日照和视线参数上，通过遗传算法进行迭代计算，以合理的算法优化异形建筑的形态。

独角兽岛的总体规划旨在为7万名研究人员、公司职员、居民以及访客提供服务，同时增强社区福祉。一体化的建筑群围绕着独角兽岛的中央广场和地铁站分布，放射状的总体规划使步行者或骑行者只需几分钟即可到达岛屿的任何角落。每个建筑群的高度和构成将在整体开发周期内逐步确定，以便直接回应不断变化的功能布局以及效率需求，在人性化的尺度下创造多样且相互连通的建筑，最终实现一种社区化的形态。在兴隆湖周边的绿地内，规划方案将采用自然的水管理系统，同时实施城市农耕技术的创新，为居民、工作人员以及游客提供新鲜的本地农产品。

02-2 兴隆湖书店

在兴隆湖书店的设计中，慕达建筑 MUDA-Architects 以“一本天上掉落的书”为故事起点，将书的造型融入建筑形态当中，希望通过这个隐喻，使用者能够走入取义于“书”的建筑空间，并真正地沉浸在静谧的氛围中，去阅读自我，完成一场自我发现之旅。

书店选址于兴隆湖湾区东侧，以一个 12m x 39m 的矩形为平面基础，在水体与湖岸的交接边缘处，打造独特的室内外滨水空间。建筑屋顶最低点高度为 3m，建筑东南角抬高 16 m，东北角抬高 7.5 m，形成了具有精神象征意义的屋顶。屋顶的曲面与湖面的水纹形成恰到好处的呼应，微风吹过，湖面上荡漾着的涟漪，乘风延展至屋顶，形成轻盈的屋面。建筑体以线性展开，顺应场地条件，使其得以与开阔的湖面相连。临湖侧玻璃幕墙延伸至水下，为室内下沉阅读空间引入柔和的水光，烘托静谧、美好的阅读氛围。建筑空间与自然环境产生积极的互动，以某种近乎“半透明”的方式来融入并回应场地的自然环境：树木、草地、水草、平缓而广阔的湖面，表达出设计对于自然的尊重与敬畏。

02-3 最孤独的星巴克

成都首家湖景星巴克，和香港九龙湾海滨花园的星巴克一样享有观“海”待遇，向南可以180°观4500亩兴隆湖。除了观海之外，它也是成都唯一一家拥有可独立对外经营的会议空间的星巴克，所配备的54㎡的会议空间，可同时容纳30余人办公。

2020，兴隆湖生态提升进行时

为了进一步构建和完善兴隆湖水生态系统、提升湖区水质，增强和丰富兴隆湖相关配套服务功能，打造一个“水清、岸绿、业兴、人和”的新时代公园城市典范区，2020年8月底，天府新区启动兴隆湖水生态综合提升工程，计划工期10个月。本次综合提升，以构建生态、梳理植被、增强体验、完善配套为策略，达成自然生态、开合有序、场景营造、智慧配套四个目标。

在水生态治理的同时，还将丰富完善公共服务设施布局，设置更多新经济、新生活、新消费场景，提升兴隆湖整体体验。儿童艺术中心和路演中心作为兴隆湖综合提升的公共空间节点，期待具有昭示性并与环境有机结合的设计方案。

双心联动，方案征集启动

04-1 基地总体区位

儿童艺术中心和路演中心，分别位于兴隆湖北侧和东侧，分别临近菁蓉中心和独角兽岛。同时，根据沿兴隆湖已有的公服设施分部，未来儿童艺术中心和路演中心将作为区域的核心节点之二，助益兴隆湖活力的增加、人气的凝聚，也将成为重要的目的性到达地和各项文化艺术活动的发生场域。

04-2 儿童艺术中心

什么是“儿童艺术”

儿童艺术由弗朗茨·艾克（1865 – 1946）在1890年代提出，指由孩子们创作的素描、油画或其他艺术作品。技能上，儿童的技能发展，需要经历涂鸦、前象征、象征和现实等阶段；意识层面，孩子的艺术创作反映了他们的自我意识水平以及他们与环境的融合程度。

艺术在儿童发展中扮演着重要的角色。艺术可以帮助孩子学习其他科目，比如阅读和数学；它还能促进视觉、运动和社交能力的发展；艺术还能作为一种表达工具，孩子可以用它进行交流，不同类型的艺术可以揭示儿童的思想、情感和兴趣；同时，儿童视觉艺术教育和专家Lina Idarraga还认为，艺术可以让孩子们将他们的感受具体化，儿童通过音乐、舞蹈和身体表达来交流思想和情感，如果成年人知道如何解释这种语言，他们就能更好地了解孩子的内心世界。

兴隆湖儿童艺术中心

儿童艺术中心位于兴隆湖北湖岸昆虫稚语+芳香花园中，匹配周边生活片区对于公共空间的需求，补充儿童、艺术休闲功能，改善周边环境的同时，给都市居民提供亲近自然的场所。期待空间的设计，符合儿童认知特性，可帮助儿童与世界连接、与环境连接、与自我连接，增加对世界的热爱和理解；充分考虑家长的角色和参与方式，能让儿童与家人朋友一起探索和创造；让儿童在充满乐趣的环境下学习，并且在学习知识的同时，习得“幸福”的能力；创造足够的用户粘性。

儿童艺术中心总面积约1500平；为了满足空间的多样性，建议内部空间层高6米-8米，展陈空间无柱或最大柱间距，减少公共厕所面积，满足经营需求的水电气负荷。空间分为展览空间（常设展+临展）、公教空间/多功能空间、会议空间、咖啡简餐、配套设施（入口空间接待区域、商店、洗手间、母婴室、婴儿车停放空间、储物柜、仓储）等。

在功能定位上，希望儿童艺术中心建筑结合地形，为儿童艺术创造舒适明亮的环境，同时为休憩游玩提供休闲简餐和茶饮。结合开阔的绿色空间，整体打造一个充满绿色的、健康的文化艺术公园。建筑外观尽量兼顾艺术性、与湖美术馆、云图广场相映成趣。外部空间预留户外活动场地，适当增加艺术小品或城市家具。

04-3 路演中心

什么是“路演”

”路演“是在公共场所进行演说、演示产品、推介理念，及向他人推广自己的公司、团体、产品、想法的一种方式。

随着时代的发展，如今的路演也在悄然改变其形式，一方面，它更具有沉浸式和超验感的特质，在空间设计上便需要更具灵活性、功能更多样，满足数字时代沉浸式体验和不断跨界的需求，即：通过感官，人们有了经历；通过经历，就拥有了回忆——也对产品有了长久的记忆和认知。另一方面，它也可能走向同样极致的”感官体验“的另一个侧面——以更具可塑性的空间，配合音乐、装置、演说等，形成一种叙事。强大的叙事使人进入到产品的理念和组织框架中，潜移默化形成一种对品牌价值的认可和粘性。

兴隆湖路演中心

路演中心位于兴隆湖东岸与鹿溪河交界处，以兴隆湖山河风光作为背景，希望打造集露天音乐会、科技新品发布、时尚秀场等功能于一体的新经济路演中心。路演中心周边主要为创新型产业，包括独角兽岛、中科院成都分院、晟天新能源大厦等，东侧地块未来为文化设施。科学城是年轻人的聚集地，突出科技、活力、艺术的气质，打造具有地标性与时代性的聚集地。这里同时还是多元体验中心，体验科技产品、体验生态慢生活、体验网红打卡点。不仅是展览展示中心，更是他们聚会、享受生活，跟随潮流的网红朝圣地。

建筑总面积约1450平，分为展示区、展演区、轻餐饮区、后勤区等；展陈空间层高不低于8米，无柱结构；建议主展区面积不低于1000平方米，办公空间、配套餐饮空间、卫生间、仓储空间按照建筑设计风格及建筑面积合理规划；户外路演场地不低于1500平方米。

在功能定位上，希望满足以下三大主题功能，即：城市客厅、体验中心、艺术公园。具体而言，城市客厅承载相关活动的举办，覆盖三大主题演艺，包括休闲放映、音乐展演、高端发布，以灵活的空间，应对不同的展示需求，吸引多年龄段的访客，打造具有地标性的路演中心；作为体验中心，希望以产品体验店、精致下午茶、网红打卡地等形式，吸引年轻人的到访、聚会、亲子的嬉戏，享受生活；同时打造一个充满绿色的、健康的文化艺术公园，改善周边环境的同时，给都市居民提供亲近自然的场所。景观体现公园城市特色及与独角兽到的互动关系，有地标性设计概念。

04-4 整体设计需求

1、设计须在充分了解兴隆湖定位、愿景、发展脉络的基础上完成，工作逻辑和过程须体现一定的在地性；
2、设计须与兴隆湖自然环境充分结合，充分考虑周围的景观设计；
3、设计须体现“公园城市”理念；
4、建筑设计的同时可将周边相关景观设计纳入考虑；
5、建筑限高12米。

Chris拥有丰富的设计及执行经验，领导了SHL许多知名项目的设计工作。其中包括国际刑事法庭（荷兰海牙）、威斯敏斯特城市大学（英国伦敦）、哈利法克斯中央图书馆（加拿大新斯科舍省，项目于2016年被授予加拿大最高国家荣誉奖——总督建筑奖章）。Chris在中国负责的项目包括有：新落成的宁波图书馆新馆、即将于2021年建成开馆的 “十三五” 时期上海文化设施建设重大项目——上海图书馆东馆、北京即将落成的某大型歌剧院，以及全球规模最大的环保能源发电厂——深圳东部环保发电厂。Chris是英国阿伯丁罗伯特戈登大学斯科特萨瑟郡建筑学院的名誉教授。同时，也是Perkins and Will全球执行董事会和全球设计董事会的成员。

Smit常驻上海，负责管理MVRDV在亚洲的项目和客户，与MVRDV在当地的团队合作。自2002年起活跃于中国及香港，担任总监职务，他的经验涵盖了中国建筑从概念到完成的实践。Smit在中国与国际知名的建筑和工程工作室合作，包括与OMA合作，作为北京中央电视台总部大楼团队的一员，作为PTW北京水立方项目的中国总监，与AECOM在成都领导TOD项目合作。Smit参加了中国的低碳建筑环境论坛，并在上海同济大学和宁波诺丁汉大学担任客座评论员。他是LEED绿色协会会员和中国绿色建筑理事会成员。

长期从事中国文化、艺术方面的研究与项目的策划和实施工作，迄今策划和实施各种文化艺术项目过百项。2007年创立的千高原艺术空间迄今已经是中国最为领先的专业艺术机构之一。2008年10月应德国外交部和歌德学院邀请到德国考察当代艺术系统，2009年参与成都市文化创意产业（五年）规划文件编制并策划实施成都市政府主办的大型综合项目“创意成都2009”，2017年策划实施柏林亚太周中国使馆日项目，同年（合作）策划首届安仁双年展主题展，2013年以来带领千高原团队策划实施成都地铁网络的文化艺术建设，参与编制的成都轨道交通文化建设总体规划荣获2019年度四川省优秀城乡规划设计奖一等奖。

从2007年至今，研究、策划以及出品了一系列当代艺术展览和相关文化教育活动，坚持不懈地致力于发掘新的艺术观点和新兴艺术家。于2008年筹备创建了中国为数不多的以学术建设、艺术项目研究和当代艺术教育推广于一体的非盈利公共艺术机构——A4美术馆，任馆长、艺术总监。2008年至2020年，策划了国际当代艺术主题展、青年艺术家系列、个案研究系列等30余个当代艺术展。

奖项设置

奖金共 700,000元，共两组。

儿童艺术馆和路演中心分别设：
优胜奖 1 名，奖金 100,000 元
入围奖 5 名，奖金各 50,000 元

* 以上奖金均为税前金额；不含优胜奖设计师可能的现场基地考察产生的差旅费用；不含优胜奖设计师深化图纸及施工图配合的相关费用。

报名方式

1、参与方案征集的设计师，请将个人简介及作品集发送至a8dc@a8dc.cn邮箱，并在标题注明“兴隆湖建筑设计方案征集+意向基地（儿童艺术中心或路演中心，或二者皆可）”。工作人员在收到申请邮件后会进行内部筛选，最终确认两组，每组6名，共12名入围设计师；
2、12名入围设计师将根据意向及必要调配，分成两组，分别针对儿童艺术中心和路演中心进行设计；
3、本次个人简介及作品集投递截止时间为2020年9月27日（周日）23时59分；
4、参与投递的设计师须保证个人简历的真实性及作品集的原创性、唯一性和知识产权的完整性；

09-1 版权说明

依据国家有关法律法规，凡主动提交作品的“参赛者”或“作者”，主办方认为其已经对所提交的作品版权归属作如下不可撤销声明:

原创声明
参赛作品是参赛者原创作品，未侵犯任何他人的任何专利、著作权、商标权及其他知识产权; 该作品未在报刊、杂志、网站及其他媒体公开发表，未申请专利或进行版权登记，未参加过其他比赛，未以任何形式进入商业渠道。参赛者保证参赛作品终身不以同一作品形式参加其他的设计比赛或转让给他方。否则，主办单位将取消其参赛、入围与获奖资格，收回奖金、奖品及并保留追究法律责任的权利。

参赛作品知识产权归属
凡作者提交作品既同意将参赛作品版权永久授予大赛主办方，大赛主办方可以行使除作者署名权以外的其他版权权利，包括但不限于无偿对竞赛作品进行再设计、使用、复制、生产、展示、出版和宣传等。其他任何单位和个人未经授权不得以任何形式对作品转让、复制、转载、传播、摘编。

评审解释权

How to Activate Urban Public Space in the Post-epidemic Ara

After several months of restrictions on the use of public space, people become more concerned about the significance of public green spaces as the epidemic has gradually stabilized. Green spaces is no longer the natural background of a city, but a critical urban design that carries various public activities of different ages and purposes, which attributes to public participation. How to create more engaging, interactive, and accessible urban green spaces and public spheres has become one of the main research topics in many cities.

Sou Fujimoto Architects completed the conceptual design of “Beton Hala Waterfront Center” in Belgrade, Serbia. The project is located at the edge of Beton Hala, Kalemegden Park, Sava River, and close to the castle wall. The design grabs every small plane and winds them into a spiral ramp structure, which Fujimoto calls “floating clouds”：”The Eye of the Vortex accommodates a new plaza and part of the external exhibition space, which continues to extend under the huge roof structure.” The restaurant and cafe are located under the roof of the habitable area of the riverside, and the commercial space is close to the castle for easy access from the street. The woven chaotic ring allows people to find the different spaces they need to travel. The circular bridge on the ground separates pedestrians from the underground parking lot and the transportation hub connecting the ferry terminal, trams and buses. The structure exists as a series of social and transportation functions, like a free-flowing cyclone, in the center of this rich cultural activity site.

Helsinki has always had a tradition of public saunas. The rapidly growing Hernesaari district recently launched a public sauna on the Finnish coastline, named Loyly, designed by local studio Avanto Architects. As one of the earliest completed buildings in a larger urban plan, the project reactivated the original industrial area as a community facility to accommodate the increased tourist population. The restaurant, terrace, roof terrace, amphitheatre, sauna and other functions are interpreted in a structure. In order to align this meal with local materials and traditions, wood occupies a central position in the design of Avanto Architects. The project is that the entire shell is composed of multi-faceted triangular planes, which are carefully processed from more than 4,000 pine boards. The project is a typical cube shape, gradually growing from the ground, minimizing its visual disturbance to the surrounding city/ocean landscape. The contoured facade transitions to deeper steps, forming stairs and an outdoor amphitheater on the roof, which serve as structural coverings, passage spaces and gathering spaces. The outer screen is structurally independent of the internal space, and each individual wooden board is supported by a steel structure bracket. The rich texture and dark tones of the external screen constitute the interior architecture, creating a relaxed and warm environment. The wooden skin on the outside isolates the bather from the outside while still being able to see the ocean.

The Vienna firm Delugan Meissl Associates Architects completed the EYE Film Institute in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The concept comes from the illusion of light, space and movement in the film, which becomes reality through projection, and builds the structure on parameters to create a spatial experience of human movement. Nearly adjacent to the IJ River, the external multi-layer folds create a transition across the river, separating the site from the historic city center and Central Station. The cultural center serves as a meeting point, and the building becomes a landmark in the new northern part of the city. It currently consists of apartments, office buildings, and towers connecting ancient and active areas. You can enter the field from different directions via ferry boats, bicycle lanes, and vehicle routes. The gentle slope promenade along the river leads to the entrance, creating a change in the surrounding scenery, and extends to the interior along the south facade, overlooking the water. The external geometric shapes imply the internal spatial development, while forming multiple surfaces to introduce different lighting conditions. The large steps become impromptu auditorium seats facing the glass wall, making it a flexible space. In the spacious exhibition area, the floor-to-ceiling glass enclosure overlooks the outdoor platform below. The underground film recording room, archive room and laboratory are all in narrow passages. Oak planks are used in multifunctional rooms, and solid polished concrete floors are used in changing areas. Oak planks are used in semi-public spaces in neutral or dull colors to guide people to focus on the projection itself.

The “Park City” of Chengdu Tianfu New Area is guided by the concept of ecological priority and green development, People-oriented as the core, and looking forward to mould a highly harmonious and beauty urban form of “people, city, environment, industry”.

Since 2018, under the organization of Park City Construction Bureau of Sichuan Tianfu New Area Chengdu Management Committee, Chengdu Tianfu New Area Investment Group and China Southwest Architectural Design And Research Institute took the lead in the design of the park city demonstration project around Xinglong Lake. In the past two years, they have continued to practice in-depth theoretical exploration and project innovation. In 2020, two years after the “Xinglong Lake Bookstore” competition, the original organization team once again initiated the goal to present a model of a park city with “clear water, green shore, prosperous industry, and harmonious people” in the context of “post-epidemic”. While the water form, water-land interlaced zone, and land landscape are being upgraded, two new public building nodes will be added along the shore of Xinglong Lake, which is expected to be optimized in the environment. At the same time, urban public activities such as culture, art, performances, parenting and children will be introduced to gather popularity, enhance vitality, and empower the park city green space. Taking this as a proposition, we start the solicitation of conceptual design proposal

Xinglong Lake: Ecological Kidney of Tianfu New Area

Starting from Tianfu Square, along Renmin South Road and Tianfu Avenue all the way south, it forms the geographic “central axis” of Chengdu. The core area of Tianfu New Area is about 25 kilometers from the center of Chengdu. Through research on the spatial structure of London, Paris, Tokyo, and other regions, it is found that a new urban core functional cluster can be formed at a spatial distance of 25-30 kilometers. Xinglong Lake is located in Tianfu New Area and the east side of the south extension of Tianfu Avenue. It has a total planned area of 5360 acres, a water area of about 4,500 acres, and an average water depth of 2.5 to 3 meters. Xinglong Lake, as a comprehensive water ecological management project integrating flood control, irrigation, ecology, and landscape, is an “ecological kidney” planned and constructed in Tianfu New Area.

In terms of industrial planning and regional positioning, it mainly undertakes core functions such as technological innovation (core area of scientific research and development), foreign exchange (world tourist destination), and ecological leisure. Therefore, it has a high-quality ecological environment, dense vegetation, excellent water quality, and species diversity, and it has the responsibility of showing the city’s green and harmonious city card. It is also a popular tourist destination and a place for major events in the city. Top sports events and famous cultural exhibitions would regularly be held. It is also a public park for the people. It meets the needs of people for leisure and recreation, sports and fitness, parent-child entertainment, and cultural and artistic activities.

Landmark Buildings in Xinglong Lake

Xinglong Lake area, is the rejuvenation of regional development industrial district. Industries around the lake are clustered. It surrounded by industrial economic parks such as Tianfu New Economic Industrial Park, Tianfu Digital Intelligence Valley, and the core area of Luxi Intelligence Valley. It is well-known by the general public for its widest water area and rare natural environment in Chengdu’s main urban area. And within the ecological appearance of Xinglong Lake, what lies hidden is the energy of industrial economy facing the world. There are more than 200 companies including Tsinghua Unigroup, Hikvision, JD Digital City, SenseTime, iFLYTEK, Nokia, and Intel set up the research and development station here. What followed was a series of landmark buildings, which either opened up and closed, focused on industries and industrial-city services, or were gentle and quiet, providing Xinglong Lake with a place for rest or exchange.

02-1 Unicorn Island

The “Unicorn Island” project is an industrial carrier based on the incubation and cultivation of unicorn enterprises. The project is located on the east side of Xinglong Lake and the core area of Luxi Zhigu. Its planning and architectural plan are designed by Zaha Hadid Architects. Zaha Hadid Office emphasized the following aspects：A. The use of green energy, combined with the concept of sponge city for sustainable design； B. Diversion of people and vehicles. People in the park are like being in an ecological park；C. Smart cities, complex functional structures are actively supported and managed intelligently. The whole plan adopts the concept of water lily, which looks like a blossoming lotus in shape. Different from traditional architectural design methods, these lotus shapes are optimized and calculated through topology-based informatics technology. Its size is calculated by the genetic algorithm in terms of connectivity, sunshine, and line of sight parameters. Reasonable algorithms can optimize the shape of special-shaped buildings.

The “Unicorn Island ” is a comprehensive planning program designed to provide services to 70,000 researchers, company employees, residents and visitors, while enhancing community well-being. The integrated buildings are distributed around the central plaza and subway station of Unicorn Island. The radial master plan allows walkers or cyclists to reach any corner of the island in just a few minutes. The height and composition of each building group will be gradually determined during the overall development cycle in order to directly respond to the ever-changing functional layout and efficiency requirements. Create diverse and interconnected buildings on a human scale, and finally realize a form of community.In the green space around Xinglong Lake, the planning scheme will adopt a natural water management system. At the same time, the innovation of urban farming technology will be implemented to provide residents, staff and tourists with fresh local agricultural products.

02-2 Xinglong Lake Bookstore

MUDA-Architects takes the idea of “a book falling from the sky” as the starting point of the story, and the architectural form is taken from the form of “book”. Through this metaphor, MUDA-Architects hopes that people can truly walk into this building, to read themselves and to complete a journey of self-discovery in a peaceful environment.

The project is located at the east side of Xinglong Lake Bay Area, with a rectangle of 12m X 39m as the plane foundation, the lowest point of the roof is 3 meters in height, one corner of the building is elevated to 16 meters, and the other corner 7.5 meters, forming a roof with spiritual symbolization. When the wind lightly patting on the water, the lake surface echoes with the curving roof. The building is linearly expanded according to the site conditions, allowing itself to be connected to the open lake. The choice of a hydrophilic platform that extends out of the water and a glass window that opens on the elevation near the lake all show respect to nature. Space and the natural environment together produce a positive interaction, the building responds to the natural environment in an almost “translucent” way: grassland, trees, water, grass, and the gentle, reflecting lake surface.

02-3 The Loneliest Starbucks

The first lake-view Starbucks in Chengdu, like the Starbucks in Hong Kong’s Kowloon Bay Waterfront Garden, enjoys the “sea” view treatment, with a 180° view of 4,500 mu of Xinglong Lake to the south. In addition to viewing the sea, it is also the only Starbucks in Chengdu that has a meeting space that can be independently operated by the outside world. It is equipped with a meeting space of 54 square meters that can accommodate more than 30 people at the same time.

2020，Xinglong Lake Ecological Improvement in Progress

In order to further construct and improve the Xinglong Lake water ecosystem, improve the water quality of the lake area, enhance and enrich Xinglong Lake’s related supporting service functions, and create a new era park city model area with “clear water, green shores, prosperous industries, and harmonious people”. At the end of August 2020, Tianfu New Area launched the comprehensive improvement project of Xinglong Lake water ecology, with a planned construction period of 10 months. In this comprehensive improvement, the strategy is to build ecology, sort out vegetation, enhance experience, and improve supporting facilities to achieve the four goals of natural ecology, orderly opening and closing, scene creation, and smart supporting facilities.

In addition to water ecological management, the layout of public service facilities will be enriched and improved, and more new economy, new life, and new consumption scenarios will be set up to enhance the overall experience of Xinglong Lake. The Children’s Art Center and Roadshow Center, as the public space nodes of Xinglong Lake’s comprehensive improvement, look forward to design schemes that are revealing and organically integrated with the environment.

04-1 Site Location

The Children’s Art Center and the Roadshow Center are located on the north and east sides of Xinglong Lake, near Jingrong Center and Unicorn Island respectively. According to the existing public service facilities along Xinglong Lake, the future Children’s Art Center and Roadshow Center will be the second core node of this region. It will help Xinglong Lake to increase its vitality and condense its popularity, and it will also become an important destination and a venue for various cultural and artistic activities.

What is “Children’s Art”?

Children’s art was proposed by Franz Eck (1865-1946) in the 1890s and refers to drawings, oil paintings, or other works of art created by children. In terms of skills, the development of children’s skills needs to go through the stages of graffiti, pre-symbol, symbol, and reality；In terms of consciousness, children’s artistic creation reflects their self-awareness and their integration with the environment.

Art plays an important role in the development of children. Art can help children learn other subjects, such as reading and math；It can also promote the development of vision, motor and social skills；Art can also be used as an expression tool, and children can use it to communicate. Different kinds of art can reveal children’s thoughts, emotions, and interests; At the same time, children’s visual arts educational expert Lina Idarraga also believes that art can allow children to embody their feelings. Children communicate thoughts and emotions through music, dance, and physical expression. If adults know how to interpret this language, they can better understand the inner world of children.

Xinglong Lake Children’s Art Center

The Children’s Art Center is located in the Insect Zoo + Fragrant Garden on the north shore of Xinglong Lake and provides supporting services for themed amusement spaces. Expected space design will meet the cognitive characteristics of children and helps children connect with the world, nature, and themselves; It also can increase their love and understanding of the world；Let children learn in a fun-filled environment, and acquire the ability to “happiness” while learning knowledge；Create enough stickiness.

The children’s art center has a total area of about 1,500 square meters；In order to meet the diversity of space, it is recommended that the internal space is 6-8 meters high, and the exhibition space has no columns or maximum column spacing to reduce the area of public toilets and meet the water and electricity load of business needs. The whole space was divided into physical fitness space, exhibition space (permanent exhibition + temporary exhibition), public education space/multifunctional space, children’s library/reading area, coffee snacks, and supporting facilities (entrance space reception Areas, shops, restrooms, maternity rooms, baby stroller parking spaces, lockers, warehouses etc.）

In terms of functional positioning, it is hoped that the buildings of the Children’s Art Center will be combined with the terrain to create a comfortable and bright environment for children while providing casual meals and tea for recreation and play. The combination of green open space, to create a whole is full of green, healthy, and culture art park. The exterior of the building takes into account the artistry as much as possible and contrasts with the Lake Art Museum and Yuntu Plaza. Reserve outdoor activity venues in the external space, and appropriately add art sketches or urban furniture.

04-3 Roadshow Center

What is “Roadshow”?

“Roadshow” is a way to give speeches, display products, introduce ideas in public places, and promote one’s own company, group, product, and idea to others.

With the development of the era, today’s roadshow is also changing its format. On the one hand, it is more immersive and transcendental. In terms of space design, it needs to be more flexible and more versatile to meet the needs of immersive experience and continuous cross-border in the digital age. Through the senses, people can experience the reality；Through experience, people can get a long-term memory and cognition of the product. On the other hand, it may also go to the other side of the same extreme “sensory experience” – A more plastic space can be used with music, installations, speeches to finally form a narrative. The powerful narrative allows people to enter the product concept and organizational framework, subtly forming a recognition and stickiness of brand value.

Xinglong Lake Roadshow Center

The Roadshow center is located at the junction of the east bank of Xinglong Lake and the Luxi River. It is hoped to build a new economic roadshow center integrating open-air concerts, new technology product releases, and fashion shows. The surrounding areas of the roadshow center are mainly innovative industries, including Unicorn Island, Chengdu Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shengtian New Energy Building, etc. The eastern plot will be a cultural facility in the future. Science City is a gathering place for young people which Highlights the temperament of technology, vitality, and art to create a landmark and contemporary gathering place. It is also a diversified experience center that experiencing technological products, ecological slow life, and online celebrity check-ins. It is not only an exhibition center, but also a pilgrimage site for Internet celebrities where they gather, enjoy life, and follow the trend.

Its total area is about 1,450 square meters, divided into exhibition area, light dining area, logistics area, etc；The height of the exhibition space is no less than 8 meters, and there is no column structure；It is recommended that the area of the main exhibition area should not be less than 1,000 square meters, and the office space, supporting dining space, bathroom, and storage space should be reasonably planned according to the architectural design style and building area；The outdoor roadshow venue is no less than 1500 square meters.

In terms of functional positioning, we hope to meet the following three thematic functions namely urban living room, experience center, and art park. Specifically, the urban living room hosts related activities, covering three themed performances, including leisure screenings, music performances, and high-end releases. With flexible spaces, it can respond to different display needs, attract visitors of multiple ages, and create landmarks roadshow center；As an experience center, it hopes to attract young people’s visits, parties, parent-child fun and enjoy life in the form of product experience stores, exquisite afternoon teas, and Internet celebrity check-in places；At the same time, a green and healthy cultural and art park will be created to improve the surrounding environment and provide urban residents with a place close to nature.

04-4 Design Requirements

1. Design must be completed on the basis of an understanding of Xinglong Lake’s positioning, vision, and development context, and the logic and process of the work must reflect a certain locality.
2. Design shall be integrated with the natural environment of Xinglong Lake, and the surrounding landscape design shall be considered.
3. Design must reflect the concept of “Park City”.
4. The surrounding landscape design can be taken into consideration.
5. The height of the building is limited to 12 meters.

He is a LEED Green Associate and a member of the China Green Building Council.

Conditions Of Proposal Solicitation

09-1 Copyright statement

According to the relevant laws and regulations of the country, the organizer believes that the “entrant” or “author” who actively submits the work has made the following irrevocable declaration of the copyright ownership of the submitted work:

Original statement
The entries are the original works of the entrants and do not infringe any patents, copyrights, trademarks and other intellectual property rights of anyone else; The work has not been published in newspapers, magazines, websites or other media, has not applied for patents or registered copyrights, has not participated in other competitions, and has not entered commercial channels in any form. Participants guarantee that their entries will not participate in other design competitions or transfer to other parties in the form of the same work for life. Otherwise, the organizer will cancel its qualifications for participation, shortlisting, and awards, withdraw bonuses, prizes, and reserve the right to pursue legal liabilities.

Attribution of intellectual property rights of entries
When the author submits a work, he agrees to permanently grant the copyright of the entry to the contest organizer, and the contest organizer can exercise other copyright rights in addition to the author’s authorship, including but not limited to free redesign, use, copying, production, and display of the contest work , publishing and publicity,etc. No other unit or individual may transfer, copy, reprint, disseminate, or extract works in any form without authorization.

Review interpretation right
Based on the principles of fairness, impartiality, and openness, the jury has the final right to interpret and judge this event. If there is a dispute about a work, contestants can call the organizing committee to report it and provide corresponding evidence as supporting evidence (such as plagiarism Document), once verified, the qualifications, certificates and trophies of the winners will be cancelled.
